Cant complain as a jags fan tho if jones is there i could maybe see us doubling down at qb

Honest question: Where do people feel like this sort of thing is realistic?  It's happened what... all of once since the turn of the century?  And even then, based off the logic being used by Shanahan and Washington when they did it, RGIII was drafted as the clear starter and Cousins was drafted to be a backup... and Cousins was drafted in the 4th round.  That's the only time I can recall a team drafting two quarterbacks in the same draft and it certainly wasn't in successive rounds.  So I always have trouble believing it to be realistic when people say "they could see their team doing it."

It's not realistic. If GM's aren't sold on the QB they are drafting in the 1st round, they shouldn't take them. GM's have egos. They don't often build insurance plans into their draft strategies in case their top 10 pick busts. They all believe that 1st round pick is going to ball out.

I don't think it's the worst idea in the world, but it is simply never going to happen. And yeah, the RGIII and Cousins thing was not a competition-based draft selection. There was a clear pecking order there.

As a Browns fan, I'm happy with the 1st round pick. In the 2nd round, if we are taking a pass catcher, give us TJ Hockenson over JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Or even Hakeem Butler over Whiteside. I'd prefer we take DE Joe Jackson there over all of those guys though. He's a guy I have as a top 15 player in the draft. I know I'm in the minority with him, but I don't see how he's not more highly regarded.

Pretty close to ideal.  Julian Love would be tough to pass up but I can't argue with Polite or Brown.

Deionte Thompson is going back to school.

Would like one of Adderley or Thornhill for the Eagles.

Hype is building on Adderley. I doubt he'll be there at the end of the 2nd round.

Not confirmed yet, unless I'm missing something.

Well we have bortles being cut, Kessler proving hes a backup qb at best and our 3rd stringer is tanner freeaking lee we need 2 quality guys.  Im skeptical on murrays potential durability with his lack of size.

Our biggest need is qb and when you have both qb 2 on my qb big board yiu should grab both.

Fwiw jones feels more like a couglin guy.

I like Joe Jackson a lot too. However, I also like Whiteside.
