PRW (72) 9.DannyB (71) 10.Swaps (70) SWAPS - Consensus Rank 10 Financial Outlook: CentralFC: Swaps enters the draft with one half million dollars to his financial portfolio and a hair over $37m looking to 2018. Both rank dead last in the league. Three running backs pull in north of $20m (Peterson, Rawls, Freeman), McCoy makes $17m, and Travis Benjamin, Jarvis Landry, and Adam Thielen take up $50m annually. Swaps does have some young assets, including Hunter Henry (2/$2m) and Dak Prescott (2/$3m), but whether he can turn those assets into a fiscally responsible roster remains to be seen. Grade: D+ Chisoxguy: It is hard to hold Swaps’ salary situation against him, as he inherited a team during the inaugural offseason of the league that had vastly overspent the salary cap during the initial auction phase. After making moves to get back under the cap, Swaps now finds himself in a situation where he has several players in new situations being paid for what their old situation was. Swaps will have trouble building a fiscally competitive roster with Peterson (2/21M), Rawls (3/20M), and Benjamin (3/22M) on the books. Bridgewater can and should be IR’d to create cap flexibility. Even if that space goes unused, he can roll it over for additional flexibility in 2018. Grade: D Team Strength: CentralFC: He has some home run hitters at running back. Devonta Freeman just got paid, LeSean McCoy is still a top-5 back, and Spencer Ware offers strong value at 2/$5m. However, the inflated contracts of Peterson (thru 2018) and Rawls (thru 2020) pose some concerns. While quarterback is the “strength” in that Brady is likely to be the top scorer on the roster, the majority of the numbers will come from the top-heavy running back group. Grade: C+ Chisoxguy: The quarterback position features strong quality and quantity. Lynch and Bridgewater seem redundant with Brady and Prescott on the roster. The RB position features good variety but questionable value. On the other hand, the WR position offers good value in Beasley (3/5M), Gabriel (1/2M), and especially Crabtree (2/7M). This is a team that could look to move Boyd (2/3M) should he take a leap in 2017. Grade: B Team Weakness: CentralFC: While Adam Thielen and Jarvis Landry are nice complimentary starters, they don’t offer the game-changing ability you’d expect from your no. 1 fantasy receiver. With three starting WRs and three FLEX options, you’d like a little more bang for your buck from your receivers, the deepest group in the NFL. Grade: C- Chisoxguy: While the WR group does present value in its tier 2 and 3 players, it lacks a solid tier 1 option. Landry (1/14M) looks like a misfit in a Jay Cutler offense. Draft Capital: CentralFC: Swap traded for squire’s 1.10 (2016 rookie draft), and gave up his 2017 1st. That 1st? No. 3 overall. 3.3 (#24) is his only selection CentralFC Grade: D- Chisoxguy Grade: F Based on 2017. With two second rounders in 2018 and some guys who could be moved this season, the 2018 offseason will be crucial for Swaps to turn this team into a contender. Championship Window: CentralFC: 2023. chisoxguy7
PRW -average rank 8.5 (75) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: $34m thrown wildly like a Bachelor in Vegas at Latavius Murray and Lamar Miller, two frequently hyped but disappointing halfbacks. Throw in $17m Sammy Watkins through 2018, an expensive and “12 GP” Rob Gronkowski (2/$21) through 2018, and Russell Wilson behind Seattle’s tragically poor offensive line (4/$12m), and the core is questionable at best and seriously overpaid at worst. Both Miller and Murray are gone fortunately heading into next year, where Romophobic boasts $94m in cap space and looks to reset his roster. Grade: B Chisoxguy: Oh, what a difference a few months can make to a football team. Latavius Murray was pegged to be the bellcow in Minnesota, only to be penciled in as the backup/goal line specialist mere months later. His $16M cap hit will be hard to swallow, fortunately Murray has only one year left on his deal, and his salary is offset by the affordable prices of Ingram (9M), Kelley (1M), and Michael Thomas (NO) (3M). PRW can save a further 7M by placing Josh Gordon on the Suspended list, placing him in prime position to roll over the maximum allowable 20% to add to his impending cap space of $61M in 2018. Grade: B Team Strengths: CentralFC: Cheap pieces in Rob Kelley (Fun Fact: prw, a European native, is a huge Redskins fan!), Jonathan Williams, and Mark Ingram give Romophobic some nice options heading into 2018. Grade: C+ Chisoxguy: Multiple cheap and attractive pieces in Thomas, Doctson (3M), Perriman (2M), J. Williams (1M), all of whom should be contributors moving forward. However, given the team’s overall situation, some may be more valuable as trade chips. Grade: C Team Weaknesses: CentralFC: Watkins’ situation is murky, Kevin White can’t run routes and thrives on watching his old film at West Virginia to sustain his motivation as a third year pro, and Breshad Perriman is a freak athlete stuck in shoulder pads. Josh Gordon is probably getting baked right now, something Goodell is well aware of, and Rishard Matthews might be on the way out next season. Romophobic’s bright spot and building block? Michael Thomas, but he paid a premium for him, dealing a 1st round pick + Ty Montgomery and Kenneth Dixon. Grade: C Chisoxguy: PRW is heavily invested in QB and TE, which has left him in a position where his bottom half RBs and WRs are backup, unestablished, and futures type players. Look for PRW to move one or more players should they establish value mid-season. Grade: C- Draft Capital: 1.01 2.06 (#16) 2.11 (#21) 3.02 (#23) 3.11 (#32) 4.02 (#34) PRW owns the no. 1 pick, and it’s a critical selection as he looks to rebuild a roster he inherited in 2016. Does he shore up his running back situation, or does he move for arguably the best dynasty asset in this draft, Corey Davis? PRW also has 19 rostered players, but 6 draft spots. Conspiracy, or are there blockbusters on the horizon? CentralFC Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: PRW owns the #1 pick, but has no first rounder in 2018. He must hit on at least 3 of his first 4 selections to get this team headed in the right direction, without having to rely on free agency in 2018 to fill more than a couple holes. Grade: A Championship Window: CentralFC: 2020 at the soonest. 2018-2019 will be roster construction years. If PRW adds a strong WR2 and WR4 in next year’s class and another 1-2 RBs in this draft, 2020 is a realistic goal. But expect a top-2 pick in 2018 (if he hasn’t already dealt it). Chisoxguy: With the right moves and a little luck, I could see this team taking it in 2019. Overall Grade: CentralFC: C- (72) Chisoxguy: C+ (78) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Team in most desperate need of a quality 2017 rookie draft! 1.1 – you’re on the clock! Chisoxguy: Team with most players named Michael Thomas.
chisoxguy7
DannyB - average rank 8 (77) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: DannyB or “Kramerica Industries” (whatever the hell that is) comes into the draft with $23m in cap space. Included in this calculation is the inflated contract of Andrew Luck at 2/$26. Core players include Julio Jones (expensive, 2/$28) and Demarco Murray (1/$17), but some questionable long-term outlooks on Doug Martin (2/$18) and CJ Anderson (2/$13). DeVante Parker might be an absurd steal (1/$3), while Corey Coleman (2/$3) and Paul Perkins (2/$2) offer exceptional combinations of sleeper status/affordability. With $78m (~45%) to spare in 2018, and some talent sprinkled throughout the roster, DannyB is in solid shape. Grade: B Chisoxguy: With only 18 players under roster and only two draft picks, DannyB will look to the early season waiver wire to spend some of his available $23M in cap space. With a head scratching $37M dedicated to the QB position and limited draft capital, don’t be surprised if DannyB looks to move a star (Demarco Murray, 1/17M, Julio Jones, 2/28M) in order to recoup some draft assets and capital. Grade: B- Team Strengths: CentralFC: In my eyes it’s running back. Murray, Martin, Anderson, and Perkins could be a nice quartet. Murray is only under contract through this season, so Danny’s not tied to Demarco’s questionable future. Doug looks rejuvenated and should slot in as the lead back when he returns from his suspension, while CJ looks to be the lead back in Denver. Perkins is the ultimate sleeper. Grade: B Chisoxguy: The depth is there at RB, but there are question marks surrounding every situation. Martin is suspended entering the season and has no ties to the current regime who appear to be looking for a reason to cut ties. Zero guaranteed money remaining on his NFL deal. Yeldon is the clear backup in Jacksonville and failed to impress as the starter. Murray continues to get older and has Henry coming for his job. Anderson/Booker might not be the long term answer in Denver as John Elway tries to retool the offense post-Manning. Perkins sounds lost in New York.At WR, DannyB features what should be an exciting 1-2 in Jones and Parker, but this is a team that is one or two surprises away from complete disaster. Grade: C+ Team Weaknesses: CentralFC: I hesitate to put it as a weakness, because Danny’s team is consistent throughout. Jimmy Graham should see a boat load of targets again in Seattle. He’s likely a top-8 fantasy tight end. But beyond Graham, who’s up for a new deal next season, DB doesn’t have a ton of depth. Dwayne Allen might be a nice sleeper, but he’s not that valuable as a pass catcher. Grade: C+ Chisoxguy: Again, it’s the depth. DannyB has some guys at TE who could produce some value on the trade market. With limited 2017 draft assets, it will be interesting to see what direction DannyB takes his team into the 2018 season. Grade: C+ Draft Capital: 1.05 4.05 (#38) CentralFC Grade: C Chisoxguy Grade: D Championship Window: CentralFC: Needs to reload in this draft, but 2018 looks to be his best bet as Luck enters his peak, Julio enters his last year under contract, as do Coleman and Perkins. Chisoxguy: I think this team will look a lot different when it competes for a title… in 2019 or 2020. Overall Grade: CentralFC: B (83) Chisoxguy: C- (71) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Team most in-need of an OJ Howard, David Njoku, or Evan Engram Chisoxguy: Team is named like a business… but one has to wonder if it isn’t a Donald Trump business. chisoxguy7
Chisoxguy7 - ranked 7 (83) Analysis by CentralFC CentralFC: Financial Outlook: Core roster players include Terrelle Pryor (4/$18), Tyreek Hill (4/$22), and Derrick Henry (2/$3). With $45m invested in these three, Chisox has some balance. He has $76m (~40 percent) available heading into 2018, and he sheds $55m with the departures of Jeremy Hill, Matt Forte, and Carlos Hyde. There’s plenty of wiggle room. Grade: B- Team Strengths: Running back for 2017, but the situation is murky with Hyde being an unknown as far as SF’s plans go. Henry is still fighting for snaps but should be the lead back in 2018. Gillislee has immense redzone potential in New England, and Hill can give chisox some carries/flex/cuff opportunities as Mixon assimilates to the NFL. There’s both balance and some solid long-term options. Grade: B Team Weaknesses: In a league where you can start 5-6 receivers, having a core of Hill and Pryor falls short. The duo can be lethal, but the depth at WR3 through WR5 is questionable. Marvin Jones is a decent WR4, Snead might be a nice option on occasion, but is there anyone you can rely on? Sneaky option might be Agholor as he resets his career in the slot. Grade: C+ Draft Capital: So much draft capital I’m not going to attempt to list it. (1.02, 1.06, 1.10, 2.01, 2.05, 2.07, 2.10, 3.01) Championship Window: Expect a championship contender in 2019, with a sleeper contender in 2018. Chisox knows how to wheel and deal with the best of them. chisoxguy7
Boboso - consensus rank 6 (85) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: Team Boboso comes into the draft with a $25m in space. Core players include reasonable investments at $15/16m in Jamison Crowder and Emmanuel Sanders, and exceptional values in Tevin Coleman, Duke Johnson, Wendell Smallwood, and DeAndre Washington. Bobo has the ability to move over a handful of pieces if he has a player he particularly likes and wants to target, and in 2018, over $70m in space with which to wheel and deal. Grade: B Chisoxguy: Acquisitions this offseason include Blount (1/12M), Stewart (2/7M), and Crowder (3/16M). Also retained Edelman (2/15M), and Sanders (2/12M), leaving 23M in cap space entering the draft. Value on most contracts is in line with production. Contract behemoths include Cobb (1/23M) and trade acquisition Moncrief (3/22M). Grade: B+ Team Strengths: CentralFC: From a contractual perspective, it’s running back. He has $26m invested in six solid options. Blount might be cut, but the other five backs are valuable assets if he decides to move one. Though right now, his receiver group is contender-worthy. Emmanuel Sanders – Julian Edelman – Jamison Crowder is a nice trio; Cobb offers experience, Moncrief upside, and Benjamin a redzone specialist. Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: The WR group offers incredible depth and should be an above-average group in terms of production. Boboso has the most $ invested in this group and will count on his receivers to provide the bulk of his week-to-week points. Quarterback depth is there but questions surround the group in regards to future years. Grade: A Team Weaknesses: CentralFC: Quarterback is a slight concern. Manning under Ben McAdoo isn’t going to be a 30+ touchdown quarterback. Blake Bortles is a journalist’s dream. And Rivers is a known and prosecuted gunslinger who will throw enough interceptions to ruin you a fantasy game or three a season. Grade: C Chisoxguy: Running back group lacks a “WOW!” factor. Johnson Jr. (1/2M) could be a nice asset in PPR, but question marks are present for Stewart, Blount, who Boboso will depend on for middle-of-the-road production. Grade: C+ Draft Capital: 1.08 2.03 (#13) 2.08 (#18) 4.08 (#41) CentralFC Grade: B Chisoxguy Grade: B- Championship Window: CentralFC: 2017 rookie draft will be consequential in collecting another 2-3 pieces heading into 2018. If all goes well, and he resigns one of Duke/Tevin, Boboso could be a sleeper contender next November. Chisoxguy: Team should sneak into the playoffs in 2017, but ultimately QB and RB play will leave them out of the championship. Boboso may decide to sell short term assets to focus on contention in 2018 and 2019. Overall Grade: CentralFC: B (84) Chisoxguy: B (86) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Team that’s one “sexy” move away from being a top-3 contender. Chisoxguy: Team most likely to trade a future pick to move into the top 6.

chisoxguy7
Ranks 5-1. Power Rankings (CentralFC): 1. squire12 (93) 2. CentralFC (Analysis by Chisox) 3. Zach (90) 4.Persiandud (87) 5. ATW (86) Power Rankings (Chisoxguy7) 1.Persiandud (94) 2.CentralFC (91) 3. squire12 (90) T4. Zach (88) T4. ATW (88) ATW - average rank 4.5 (87) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: $27m in 2017 heading into the rookie draft, and $100m in 2018. In 2017 alone, HS has $90m invested in Eddie Lacy, Demaryius Thomas, TY Hilton, and Jeremy Maclin. Baldwin, Decker and Meredith are affordable deals, and Rudolph/Ertz check in combined at $5m. It’s a reasonably priced roster all around with a competitive financial picture post-2017. Grade: B Chisoxguy: Boasts over $80M of cap space heading into 2018… but has 10 players with contracts expiring after the 2017 season. With no first or second round draft pick in 2018, ATW will look to the 2017 draft and 2018 free agency to reshape this team. This is a team that does have value moving forward, however. B. Miller (2/1M) and Meredith (2/9M) could become the faces of this WR group with D. Thomas (1/27M), Hilton (1/19M), and Maclin (1/16M) set to depart. Team Strength: CentralFC: Receiver, as Hilton, Decker, Maclin, and Baldwin offer stability, consistency, strong quarterback connections, and they’re reasonably priced for the most part. Throw in a potential target whore (Cam Meredith), a long-term dynasty stud (Thomas), and young pieces (Carroo, Miller), and you have one of the most well-rounded position groups in the league. Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: I’m going to go outside of the box and go with TE. Kyle Rudolph had a very underrated 2016 and will return to the same offense featuring Sam “6.6 Career YPA” Bradford. Rudolph should continue to be peppered with red zone targets, of which he had a career high 25 in 2016. Ertz looks at an expanded role following the departure of WR Jordan Matthews. Expect one of these two to be a FLEX staple for ATW in 2017. Grade: A Team Weakness: CentralFC: Gurley is the only real asset in the running back group. CJ Prosise is a question mark in Seattle, even though he has serious pass-catching potential. Lacy at $29 is among the worst contracts in the league, and Sproles/Bernard/Vereen are dart throws every week, not reliable starters. Grade: C Chisoxguy: This is a team loaded with pass catching backs, and it has to be: Eddie Lacy (2/29M) is “weighing down” this team’s ability to allow for more traditionally productive running backs. A season that looked more like his rookie year would be a blessing for Gurley (1/3M), who may not be long for ATW’s roster. Even still, I don’t hate this running back group, but it is the area where I would devote attention to first in attempting to improve this roster. Grade: B Draft Capital: 1.04 2.04 (#14) 3.09 (#30) 4.04 (#37) 4.11 (#44) CentralFC Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: Having only moved down in one round and with a late compensatory pick, it’s hard to think poorly of this draft situation. 1.04 is a perfect spot to add cheap and long-term talent to the RB stable. Perhaps another Minnesota Viking? Grade: A Championship Window: CentralFC: Habeas has an outside shot at a run in 2017. Gurley needs to be a hit, and 1.04 has to be a hit as well. If Cam returns to form and his receivers give him the ~80-90 points he needs, then he has the kind of group to make a run come November/December. Going forward, 2018-2019 are also viable opportunities given the financial wiggle-room. Chisoxguy: As Central hinted at, this team has a shot in 2017. However, QB concerns in DEN and IND, combined with OL concerns in BAL and SEA make this WR group no sure thing. The trade deadline will be the make-or-break point for ATW, as he likely cannot afford to stand pat and will need to commit to buying or selling. Overall Grade: CentralFC: B (86) Chisoxguy: B+ (88) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Team that should rename its team to “Prodigal Son.” Chisoxguy: Team with the most pun name possibilities. chisoxguy7
Zach - average rank 3.5 (89) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: Three players account for $75m of the defending champion’s’ payroll, with $25m sent to the eponymous gunslinger in Green Bay, $30m to the best pass-catching and fiscally reckless back in football, and $20m to DeAndre Hopkins. Those three provide a valuable core, but Hopkins’ situation is questionable, as Watson/Savage present odd trade partners. But heading into 2018, Arod for Sale will have +$100m to resign Ajayi, Keenan Allen, and Martavis Bryant (if he so chooses). With Ebron in the fold for a cool $3m, Arod for Sale will be around for a while. Good to have you here. Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: Mid-offseason newcomer Zach inherits the defending champ team, but with a roster that looks a lot different than last year’s. Acquisitions include Ajayi (1/1M), Bryant (1/12M), Allen (1/9M), Fuller (2/2M), Ginn Jr. (1/1M), Ebron (3/3M), and Brate (1/2M). Will have ample cap space come 2018, but some impending free agents will have to be exposed to the fair and open markets. I expect Ajayi to stay put via franchise tag. Grade: A Team Strengths: CentralFC: Arod’s receiving corps offers veteran, high-floor options (Fitzgerald), red zone threats (Hopkins), and upside (Bryant, Allen). Whether Brown returns to form following his bouts with sickle cell remains to be seen, but Fuller, Mitchell, and Ginn give Arod for Sale some options in 2017. Aaron Rodgers would be an A on his own, but the depth/top-end talent at WR is more imperative. Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: Team is heavily invested at WR, but boasts both youth and value. RB position lacks depth, but should be able to field two above average performers from week to week. QB position can be safely ignored for the next two years. Grade: B Team Weaknesses: CentralFC: Tight end. Ebron is exceptional value at 3/$3m, but it’s murky behind him. Brate is an option but it’s unclear when you’d start him. Ebron needs to take a jump as a red zone threat in 2017. Grade: B- Chisoxguy: Zach has options at TE, but lacks that one guy who you will feel good about starting every week. Ebron could establish himself as that guy but has struggled given opportunity thus far in his career. With Megatron and Boldin gone in Detroit, who will pick up the slack? Grade: C+ Draft Capital: 3.10 (#31) 4.07 (#40) 4.10 (#43) CentralFC Grade: D+ Chisoxguy: Through no fault of his own, lacks top draft assets in 2017 and 2018. Will face stiff competition on the free agent market to bring top free agents to town, but he is forced to focus on free agency and trades over the draft for the near future. Grade: F Championship Window: CentralFC: Now and through 2019. The core pieces are there. Can he hold off the other challengers? Chisoxguy: Contends on paper, but will rely on Allen and Bryant returning to form to push him over the top for a 2017 title. Overall Grade: CentralFC: A- (90) Chisoxguy: B+ (88) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Team most deserving of a literal title belt. Chisoxguy: Team named after extraordinarily unlikely (MLB???) chisoxguy7
Persiandud - average rank 2.5 (90.5) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: Depends on your definition. Core of four elite fantasy studs (OBJ, Mike Evans, Amari Cooper, Antonio Brown) but questionable depth elsewhere. Only $61m heading into next season with 12 players rostered. Needs to run a tight ship! Grade: B- Chisoxguy: Team’s construction is unique and leaves no room for injury at any position. Capitalizes on PPR scoring with additions of Woodhead (3/6M), White (2/2M). With 41M in cap space heading into 2018, team will face tough decisions to potentially retain Robinson (1/14M), Abdullah (1/3M), Winston (1/1M), and Cooper (1/3M). An injury to a top player will free up salary space, but will require future picks to acquire a replacement. Grade: B+ Team Strengths: CentralFC: His receivers. See above. Grade: B+ Chisoxguy: Receivers are the “WOW!” factor on this team, but don’t overlook the running back position. Even so, this team is built around receptions and receiving yardage. Grade: A Team Weaknesses: CentralFC: Running back depth is a long-term question. Woodhead, White, Rodgers, West, and Charles give him a handful of dart throws in 2017. Abdullah is a nice option. No questionable values here. But is there the one back he can rely on week-in and week-out? Grade: C+ Chisoxguy: Team is built to win this year. What will the hangover period be moving forward? How will Shahin respond to injuries, and, in that event, how much of the future is he willing to mortgage to bring home a title this year? Grade: B+ Draft Capital: 3.06 (#27) 3.08 (#29) 3.12 (#33) 4.03 (#36) 4.06 (#36) 4.09 (#39) Hmm, 19 players + 6 draft picks. You smell forfeited picks? CentralFC Grade: C- Chisoxguy: With 6 late round picks, could possibly try to move into the second round to acquire that final piece. Grade: C+ Championship Window: CentralFC: 2017 is the best bet with Abdullah and Cooper due to depart in 2018. But with a strong core in Evans-Brown-Beckham, this team will always be around. CentralFC: Strong favorite to make the championship based on pre-draft appearance. How much will other teams close the gap with first and second round draft choices? How willing will teams be to trade with the odds-on favorite? Overall Grade: CentralFC: B+ (87) Chisoxguy: A (94) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Team that’s most qualifying of the “Dream Team” label (circa 2013 Philadelphia Eagles). chisoxguy7
CentralFC - rank 2 (91) Analysis by Chisoxguy Financial Outlook: Chisoxguy: At last we arrive at CentralFC’s team. Rivaling myself for having the most active offseason, this is a team that traded for Elliott (2/3M), Cooks (2/18M), Jeffery (2/18M), Dixon (2/2M-IR), Tannehill (1/8M-IR), and Diggs (2/10M) as well as adding Anderson, Stills, Wallace, Britt, Doyle, Burkhead, and Crowell in Free Agency. Despite all of this activity, Central sits with over 28M in remaining cap space for 2017. Grade: A Team Strength: Chisoxguy: There is no answer other than WR. The depth and value are there, with no receiver making more than $18M and a plethora of options present to start week to week. Central will lean on his WR group to overcome a shortage of depth at the RB position. That said, while Central boasts two receivers who finished in the top 10 at their position in 2016 in Adams and Cooks, I think both players are due for regression (in addition to Cooks moving to a New England offense notorious for inconsistent WR production) and Central may not have a receiver rostered who finishes in the top 20 at the position. I am identifying this position as a strength because of the value and depth present. Grade: B+ Team Weakness: Chisoxguy: As stated previously, the depth at RB is weak, and it is impossible to tell what Montgomery will offer in his first full season at the RB position. Given that Green Bay drafted 3 running backs in the 2017 draft, it is fair to wonder how confident the Green Bay coaching staff is in Montgomery’s transition. Don’t be surprised if Central looks to handcuff Montgomery in the rookie draft. With Elliott currently suspended for the first 6 games of the season, those weeks could be rough for Central’s RB production. Having failed to lock up Alfred Morris or Darren McFadden in free agency, Central is left with Rex Burkhead (now in New England) and Isaiah Crowell (Osweiler/Rookie QB) alongside Montgomery to produce at RB throughout Elliott’s suspension. Grade: C+ Draft Capital: 1.07 2.02 3.07 4.01 Chisoxguy: Central sits at #7 in the first round where he is likely to miss out on the top tier of running backs. Regardless, look for Central to go RB-RB with his first two picks before going with a QB in round 3 or 4. Central does have a wealth of picks in 2018 and could possibly look to move up or acquire additional picks in 2017 to supplement his needs. Grade: B+ Championship Window: Chisoxguy: Central surely hopes to contend in 2017, and I think he is close to that point. I feel that he may need a little push over the top at the RB position, but the good news is he has the ammunition to buy the title if he so chooses. If not, Central will be a dangerous opponent arguably until the end of the 2022 season, when his 2018 first round rookies (4 of them, if things stay as they are now), reach the end of their contracts. Overall Grade: Chisoxguy: A- (91) Bonus Category: Chisoxguy: Team most likely to meet the limit of 15 rostered WRs in 2017.
chisoxguy7
Squire12 - average rank 2 - (91.5) Financial Outlook: CentralFC: QB situation was shored up with the addition of Matt Ryan for 2 years, $4m. Cousins is around for another cheap season. Core players under contract include David Johnson (1/$1), Melvin Gordon (1/$3), and Jordan Howard (2/$2). More expensive receiver situation with just under a third of his cap invested in a declining Dez Bryant (2/$29) but elite AJ Green (2/$22). With over $100m in space heading in 2018, Team “squire12” has a strong near and long-term outlook. Grade: A- Chisoxguy: With 20 players under contract and $49 million in remaining cap space, squire figures to roll over a significant amount of cap space to add to his available $68 million in 2018. Jordy Nelson (10M) and Delanie Walker (7M) will come off the books following this season… but so will Melvin Gordon (3M), David Johnson (1M), and Bilal Powell (3M). Squire faces a difficult decision in deciding which players to expose to the market in 2018. Grade: A Team Strengths: CentralFC: Running back, obviously. Squire has arguably three of the top-8 fantasy running backs available in PPR formats, and they dock him a whopping $6m in cap space (less than 4%). Grade: A Chisoxguy: While most will want to scream “running back!”, don’t discount squire’s depth at WR, where the $$ value might not be as great, but where he should be able to count on regular production from a deep list of WRs including Dez Bryant, AJ Green, Jordy Nelson, and Brandon Marshall. Grade: A Team Weaknesses: CentralFC: Colby Fleener (3/$7) and Delanie Walker (1/$7) won’t cut it. While the rest of the roster is championship caliber, squire falls short here. Grade: C+ Chisoxguy: Fluid situations for QBs Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins create uncertainty for 2017. Cousins is playing for a contract on the free agent market, but questions at RB may allow opposing teams to dedicate more resources to defending the pass. Ryan returns dynamic RB duo of Freeman and Coleman, but loses OC Kyle Shanahan for Steve Sarkisian. Grade: B- Draft Capital: 1.03 (via Swaps) 1.09 2.09 (#19) 3.04 (#25) 3.05 (#26) CentralFC Grade: A Chisoxguy: Squire boasts two first round selections, including one in the top three, which will be crucial to extending his championship window. Grade: A Championship Window: CentralFC: 2017 and beyond, championship runs in 2017 and 2018 Chisoxguy: Look for squire to make a playoff run in 2017. A 2018 run is possible given favorable results in 2017 draft and 2018 free agency. Overall Grade: CentralFC: A (93) Chisoxguy: B+ (90) Bonus Category: CentralFC: Worst team name, by far, and it’s not even close.
