This is one of the better browns offensive staffs in a long, long time. 

The staff is very deep and diverse. Not a bunch of guys from his Arizona days.

I still think because we hired him he’ll be calling plays. Give Freddie a year as HC to acclimate and when Monken is hired as HC Freddie can take over. Smart plan.

We had a good staff under Butch Davis. I can’t remember what year though.

That’s probably why Monken was chosen over Gary Kubiak.

It was a good staff but this staff on paper is better IMO

Monken was great until he got into the red zone. Have monken call plays up to that point then Freddie in the red zone where he was great.

Wasn’t sure if posted but looks like it’s official. It’s going to be one of the best pressers tomorrow!  Too bad I got a ton of work to do tomorrow.

Honestly, this reminds me of when Urban was first hired at OSU and brought on a ton of phenomenal assistants. I remember Ed Warriner changing the o-line from awful to national championship caliber.

Man that was a good staff, too bad Butch F'ed it up with his GM abilities.
