Good. That kid can play the game. He's one of the maybe 4-5 linebackers in this weak class that I think will be a solid starter. He has the potential to be a great starter.

Just a little blurb on JT Hassell who I'm pretty sure none of us have heard of.

This kid is 5110 and while he has played linebacker he straight up murdered his pro day running a 4.38 forty yard dash in front of NFL scouts. He added in a 42 inch vert, a 10’1 broad jump and a 4.26 short shuttle. This kid is athletic enough to play safety and the Buccaneers could use a safety as well as a hybrid linebacker. He will likely be a priority free agent.

I'd be surprised if he truly ran a 4 38, pro day times have to be taken with a grain of salt, that said he is probably sub 4.5, which is great.

If he can play he could be a phenomenal st and maybe nickel lb.

Just watched his game tape on YouTube, and I gotta say...impressed. He seems like a heat-seeking missile when he brings it, and by all accounts shined in the All-Star circuit after the season. I wonder if he was homesick, transferring from S. Dakota St. to Florida Tech, or if there were other factors at play. Intriguing find.

Just wanted to get this started.

So far Day one East West Shrine Game.

Browns scheduled prospect meetings:

Tre Watson LB Maryland 6'2 236

-Mayland LB Tre Watson‘s frame and movement skills were really impressive. In an NFL where offenses and predicated on pace and space, he has the makeup of a guy that would excel on the second level.

Jon Duhart WR Old Dominion 6'3 210

-I don’t know how athletic he is, but Old Dominion’s Jon Duhart caught the ball really well in team periods, making a couple smooth adjustments at the catch point. He has a big, power forward type frames, but I don’t know that he will star in the athletic testing.

Brian Wallace OT Arkansas 6'6 320

Saquan Hampton S Rutgers 6'1 207

Derick Roberson DE Sam Houston State 6'4 250

Get Saquan, after the Giants game we bait and switch.:D

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo said that UCF DT Trysten Hill is "looking like a Day 2 pick."

By the time of the draft, Hill (6'3/308) will have visited with at least 15 NFL teams, so there's tons of interest. Garafolo specifically mentions the Eagles, Browns, and Packers as teams Hill has spent time with. At UCF, Hill posted a decent amount of tackles for loss (10.5) as a junior, but it's his plus athleticism that has put him on the Day 2/3 borderline. At the NFL Combine, Hill showed explosion (35-inch vertical) and plus-speed (5.04-second forty) for a 308-pounder.

Darn--was hoping he slipped to us in round 4, but it'd be alright if we got him in round 3.  He looks like he's worth at least a mid 3rd.

If this is the pick then it has to be: In Dorsey we trust.

As a high school student, I only applied to one college: THE Ohio State University. Many found this strategy foolish.

Me? I knew where I was going, applying elsewhere was a waste of time.

John Dorsey is a man who knows what he wants.
