Not sound logic frankly.

Cowboys are 9th in scoring offense at 25.7 PPG and 1st in yards per game at 430 (Baltimore with their MVP quarterback is 2nd at 408)

Dallas struggles at stopping the run more than anything else. Which isn't surprising given how many missed tackles their linebackers have and that their Defensive Interior in general is subpar.

Another area they suck at. Special Teams. Kickoff returns, Dead last in the NFL in kick return average when they bring it out. Kicking Field Goals, they're 5/13 beyond 40 yards.

Let them feast on themselves and come up with their own logic for how they suck. YouΒ hate to see it after that amazing September.

Though the one thing both of us can say is there is way worse problems than the QB

That 6-7 record is more indicative of the overall ineptitude of Garrett, and frankly the franchise as a whole, than it is Dak, but it's glorious either way.Β

Β

Offense isn't as good as raw numbers would suggest though. In none of their losses did the offense ball out. They've just done a real good job at pilingΒ it on in blow outs. I feel like the Lions game was only time the D truly let them down and the offense had to go blow for blow to keep the lead, and they did. Maybe the Vikings game you could say the D let them down, but even then, 24 pts isn't amazing. I see they put up 563 yards vs the Packers.... they were down 31-3 at halftime, those are garbage yards.Β

In their 6 wins vs Giants x2, Dolphins, Redskins, Eagles and Lions:

34.3 PPG, 464 YPG (D allowed 16.5 PPG)

Β

In their 7 losses:

18.3 PPG, 403 YPG (D allowing 24 PPG)

Β

I'm not saying the D hasn't been disappointing and the much worse unit, but we're not dealing with a case of the offense putting up 30 points multipleΒ times and losing. The 2 tend to succeed and suck, respectively, in tandem (which not coincidentally has only happened against bad teams, us included)

You are right.Β

Most missed tackles in the NFL

Most dropped passes in the NFL.

32nd ranked special teams

Lame duck HCΒ

Β

This level of suck is a full team effort.

If there is a saving grace to this underwhelming 2019 season, it’s that theΒ Dallas CowboysΒ should feel a great sense of comfort that they have one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL. After three seasons with a few hills and valleys,Β Dak PrescottΒ is having the best season of his young career. There are still three more games to go, but Dak has already set career highs in both touchdowns and yards this season. And it wasn’t but a few weeks ago where his name was being brought up for league MVP consideration. Yes, he’s been that good.

Sacrificing the division to get rid of Garrett. Dummies don’t realize he’s out either way.Β

Yeah it’s over, even if they get in

theyll get crushed and JG will be fired before noon the next day.

Will be an interesting 3/4 years of Urban Meyer in the NFL. Wonder if theΒ see if theΒ behavioral issues follow him and whenΒ he’ll fake a heart attack to graciously exit amid issues again. Or if this whole thing was to try and get some college program like USC to fork over more cash.

The only people who were considering Dak for MVP were Cowboys fans or people who are paid to pretend to be Cowboys fans. Dak has played well, but he's not really been in the conversation.Β

The only MVP Dak was and is in consideration for is Team MVP. He's by far been the best Cowboys Player all season.

Now go get Franchised because Jerry still doesn't want to pay you the going rate of $34+ because you should take a discount? God I hope Dak mans up, sits out and pulls a Zeke instead of playing the good little soldier two years in a row!

No reason a long term contract exceeding Wentz/Goff (new bench mark to be broken) shouldn't be reached, None!!! But its the Jones's!!!
