That Supposed SB Caliber ? Defense get a 50 burger thrown up on them. Then again the Eagles did just do the same thing to the Broncos.?? I havent paid attention to them since they curb stomped us. But they were killing everyone with their def at the beginning of the year. Matts4313 Posted November 6, 2017 Share Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) A couple things - If you all remember correctly we were down to only Brown and Jordan Lewis at CB by like the second drive of the Broncos game. And at that point Lewis had only practiced like 3 or 4 times ever with the Cowboys (he missed a lot of training camp and the first week of the season). So basically we had no secondary at all, which is how we made Seimian look like an all star. It was pathetic. Secondly, I just heard on the Cowboys radio that with Lee the Cowboys give up <90 rushing yards per game and <18 points per a game. W/o Lee, we give up 160+ rushing yards per game and 30+ points per a game. Again, I know other teams have more injuries in quantity, but id contend that none of your defenses are so reliant on one individual player. Mostly because you guys have enough talent to overcome one injury.... were as we are to young and too thin to do so.
