NFL Network's Jane Slater reports Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (groin) is expected to miss Week 10 against the Falcons.

One "person with knowledge of the situation" told Slater, "I'll be surprised if he plays through it." Smith suffered the injury in last week's win over Kansas City. Bryon Bell and Chaz Green are candidates to start in his place.

It was a matter of time. TheyΒ΄ve been extremelyΒ lucky in regards to injuries and specially their offensive line. ItΒ΄s very uncommon to have their three all-pro start every single game for the last three seasons.Β

Can we count on ATL?Β

Nope. I still think they lose to Dallas who will rally around the "they don't think we can win" montra. Especially Morris and that OL.Β

Much like the Eagles did last week vs Denver and the NFZ, Can't run on Denver, etc, etc.

Definitely good news for us though.

For 99.999% of people,Β this is the end of the line. The SCOTUS isn't taking up this case. But again, yeah, when you have a legal team backed by millions of dollars and a billion dollar franchise, you can bet they'll do anything in power to fight this, but, even then, this is looking bleak for Zeke. There's really not much else that he can do to stop the suspension.

FWIW the actual legal case isn't over. This was only for a temporary restraining order pending litigation. The NFLPA and NFL can continue to fight the labor stuff, but Zeke just won't have the benefit of not being suspended during it.

If they're missing Zeke and Smith they aren't winning that game.

Eh, ATL looks extremely average. They literally lost to Miami lol.

Exactly. If I'm being honest, Smith is a bigger loss then Zeke. They have two proven 1000yd runners. Another Franchise LT, not so much.

Yes RMiB, I'm from the current school of thought that I don't want the Cowboys at full strength. I want that Week 11 match-up to offer the least amount of resistance possible.Β
