#20.  Christian Wilkins - 2019 NFL Draft

Scouting Report: Christian Wilkins

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Clemson Position: Defensive Tackle Class: Senior Height: 6-4 Weight: 310 lbs Projected Draft Round: 1-2

Scouting Report:

A potential matchup nightmare for offensive coordinators at the next level, Wilkins is able to be effective all over the defensive line. A tackle for loss machine, he will need to continue to work on his pass rush technique, and could end up as a top 10 pick in next year’s draft. Suitable for any defensive scheme.

#32.

Noah Fant NFL

Scouting Report: Noah Fant

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s 2019 Mock Draft

School: Iowa Position: Tight End Class: Junior Height: 6-5 Weight: 232 lbs Projected Draft Round: 1-2

Scouting Report:

A move tight end that has the bulk and strength of a blocking tight end. Wins contested balls with a combination of a large catch radius and strength. Can post up, work the seam, and is a major redzone threat. Strong enough to work as a blocker in space and inline. Gifted pass catcher with very good hands.

#44.  Nasir Adderley NFL

Scouting Report: Nasir Adderley

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Delaware Position: Safety Class: Senior Height: 5-11 Weight: 200 Projected Draft Round: 2-4

Scouting Report:

Profoundly well rounded defensive back that excels in all major skills needed to play the safety position at the next level. Covers the deep field well, and is able to recognize plays quickly and get to the receiver decisively and by taking sound angles. Ferocious tackler and gets off of blocks with authority getting to the ball carrier. Has shown no weakness in covering either small, shifty receivers or big bodied tight ends and bigger receivers.

#52.  Jawaan Taylor NFL

Scouting Report: Jawaan Taylor

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Florida Position: Offensive Tackle Class: Junior Height: 6-5 Weight: 344 Projected Draft Round: 2-5

Scouting Report:

Has excellent height and a strong build, but appears to not have the ideal arm length of a tackle. Could very possibly be seen as a guard at the next level. Even though he doesn’t possess the wingspan that NFL scouts look for, he does an excellent job of mirroring defenders, and gets a powerful first hand punch, and sustains blocks. Very good to excellent balance and bend. Needs to work on footwork and positioning when blocking in space. Technique has continued to improve, so will be interesting how he is viewed in terms of position during the draft process.

#75.  Dalton Risner NFL

Scouting Report: Dalton Risner

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Kansas Sate Position: Offensive Tackle Class: Senior Height: 6-5 Weight: 300 Projected Draft Round: 2-3

Scouting Report:

A modern right tackle prospect that projects more of a pass protector than a road grader run blocker. Excellent against speed, with great feet and balance. Sets quickly and isn’t easily put into bad position by crafty pass rushers. Uses his hands well, and while he doesn’t overpower opponents, he uses his length to keep pass rushers at bay. Superb ability to get the next level, and pulls well. Not going to be that bulldozer right tackle that was coveted years ago, but is a fit at right tackle in today’s game.

#99.  Julian Love NFL

Scouting Report: Julian Love

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Notre Dame Position: Cornerback Class: Junior Height: 5-11 Weight: 193 Projected Draft Round: 1-3

Scouting Report:

Elite cover skills that culminate from superb read and react skills, ability to close quickly on the ball, and a physicality that allows him to break up contested balls. Not a high end speed or strength corner, but has a good combination of both that allows him to cover and receivers on the outside. A potential shut down type corner that will need to test well at the combine to jump into first round consideration.  (Slides out of 3rd into 4th round.)

#114.  Anthony Johnson NFL

Scouting Report: Anthony Johnson

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Buffalo Position: Wide Receiver Class: Senior Height: 6-1 Weight: 210 Projected Draft Round: 2-4

Scouting Report:

A community college transfer, Johnson has the height / weight / speed attributes that come together to make him a balanced wide receiver prospect.  What stands out in his game is that he puts together his athleticism along with strong, reliable hands, and the ability to burst out of his routes. He is raw in some of his route running, but there is no doubting how he creates separation and that he is a very dependable target. Extremely productive, will be interesting to see how he tests during the draft process.

#118.  D’Andre Walker NFL

Scouting Report: D’Andre Walker

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Georgia Position: Outside Linebacker Class: Senior Height: 6-2 Weight: 240 Projected Draft Round: 3-5

Scouting Report:

A high motor, smart linebacker that is experienced and has grown as a playmaker throughout his college career. On tape, it appears that his discipline and experience are driving his production, as he doesn’t quite yet seem to trust his immediate read and react instincts to attack the edge. Is not a sloppy off the edge by any means, but his technique there has not been developed to its fullest. Is a linebacker that coaches can trust not to make foolish mistakes, and his position at the next level is up for debate.

#129.  Delvon Randall NFL

Scouting Report: Delvon Randall

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Temple Position: Safety Class: Senior Height: 5-11 Weight: 210 Projected Draft Round: 5-7

Scouting Report:

Had a strong turnaround year in terms of addressing his biggest weakness which was attacking with good angles and efficiency in the run game. Always has shown excellent coverage skills in space, and is a leader on the field. Reads plays quickly and is always around the ball. A smart, technique sound safety in centerfield, and greatly improved against the run and in blitzes in his final college year.  (Can also add to our ST Unit.)

#139.  Jordan Brailford NFL

Scouting Report: Jordan Brailford

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Oklahoma State Position: Outside Linebacker / Defensive End Class: Junior Height: 6-3 Weight: 250 Projected Draft Round: 4-6

Scouting Report:

Extremely versatile front seven defender, that best projects as an OLB in a 3-4. Most NFL teams prefer to call themselves “multiple” and prize players that can be moved around. Brailford has played every linebacker position and put his hand in the dirt as an edge rusher. Good length, that will allow him to develop a bigger array of pass rush moves that he can use effectively. Decent in coverage, and his experience at linebacker will make him attractive to two gapping defenses that need versatile edge players.

#171.  Paul Adams NFL

Scouting Report: Paul Adams

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Missouri Position: Offensive Tackle Class: Senior Height: 6-5 Weight: 315 Projected Draft Round: 5-7

Scouting Report:

A team captain that has very good physical measurables, and plays with intensity and toughness. Showed ability to handle elite pass rushers in multiple SEC games, particularly against Alabama. Fairly athletic, and slides effortlessly laterally, and able to get up to the next level and block in space. There will be discussions on whether he projects on the right or left side.

#179.  Donnie Lewis Jr NFL

Scouting Report: Donnie Lewis Jr

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Tulane Position: Cornerback Class: Senior Height: 6-0 Weight: 195 Projected Draft Round: 5-7

Scouting Report:

Extremely versatile defensive back that has played all over the secondary against receivers of all shapes and sizes. Has 4 years of starting experience, and has been productive throughout his college career. Sticks to receivers whether they are small and twitchy, or bigger and more physical. Potential sleeper in the upcoming draft.  (Again, can add to our ST Unit.)

#228.  Markus Jones NFL

Scouting Report: Markus Jones

2019 NFL Mock Draft

DraftGeek’s Mock Draft

School: Angelo State Position: Running Back Class: Senior Height: 6-3 Weight: 255 Projected Draft Round: 4-7

Scouting Report:

Eye popping stats in Division II, he finished with 88 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 34 TFLs, 2 blocked kicks, and 4 forced fumbles. Has top end burst and explosion off of the snap and is relentless in pursuit through the whistle. Excels on special teams, which will increase his draft stock as he gets acclimated to a higher level of competition.

Confirmed! I don't like it one bit. Trading Daniels is one of the DUMBEST things I've ever heard of doing. Thinking you could get ANYTHING in a trade for Perry is second! Then you want to give LeVeon Bell 21 million a year.

I'd have to start rooting for another team is we did this crap.

Yeah this mock is awful from the start. Trading Daniels would be dumb and Perry is a negative asset. And then you signed Leveon Bell. Runningbacks don't actually matter. We saw James Conner be just as successful as Bell was in PIT this year. A RB does not make a good running game, the OL does.

The whole thing is just way off, Taylor, Adderly, and Risner all likely gone way before your projections. Why do people keep wanting CMIII to play ILB, did anybody watch him this year, he could not tackle, average players were running right through him, time to lose the sentiment, the guy just doesn't have it anymore.

I don't think this is really as bad as it is unrealistic. Barr isn't leaving MN folks, stop mocking him in FA to us. Bell is a headache that will follow AB to wherever he goes I suspect unless the Jets want to unload money on him(which would actually make sense for a maturing Darnold). Other than that, I really don't mind the mock though Fant and Risner will be long gone before we select at those two spots. We MIGHT get Risner at 32 if we're lucky...
