UtahUtesFan
What's the next team that had a record 7-9 or worse like how Jacksonville was 3-13 in 2016 that will make a leap to go to the Conference Championship game or farther?
Hunter2_1
49ers...Garoppolo baby. Nah, It's tough to say. Considered Oakland for a second, but there's LA and KC blocking that path. Denver is always a good shout, but same problem. How about....Jacksonville?...
tgrades3
Jags if they get a QB, 49ers with jimmy back or Tampa bay
TecmoSuperJoe
It's difficult to say since a few teams are clearly going in another direction at quarterback like the Giants, Dolphins, or Jaguars. The Dolphins and Bengals don't even have a head coach yet. I suppose I'm a homer, but I hope it's the 49ers. The regime will have been together a couple of years now, and Jimmy G will be back as the triggerman. Other than that, maybe the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The defense needs to obviously be repaired, and Winston is a wildcard, but I still think he has enough talent to at least have a couple of quality seasons under his belt. Especially now with Arians. TXsteeler
Is this a common occurrence? Probably nobody. Next year in the AFC it will likely be the Pats, Chiefs, Chargers, Steelers, Ravens or Colts. In the NFC it will likely be the Rams, Saints, Seahawks, Cowboys, Bears, Eagles or packers. The teams most likely to do it that fit your criteria are the Packers, and maybe the falcons or panthers in the NFC, and the Browns*(7-8-1) in the AFC. SBLIII
It will have to be a team with players who are grossly underpaid especially at QB. So the Cleveland Browns fit that description. My guess is the Browns will win at least 10 games next year and will be a SB threat.
