Should a pass interference call, or lack of PI call, be something a coach can challenge?

I would rather have the booth be able to call down on PI/non-call PI rather than challenges, though I would restrict it even further to only PI situations regarding the targeted receiver as with the fact there is holding on nearly every play, there is going to be something that could be called PI on nearly every play by the letter of the law.

So if we used this play as it happened, the booth would alert the refs that there was possible PI that needed reviewed.  Refs could see that there was indeed PI, also helmet-to-helmet, and make the appropriate call.

Now let's say this call had been made to be a PI, but the ball was tipped, or believed to be tipped at the line.  The booth could call down letting them know that they think the ball was tipped at the line and the refs can review it.  During the review the refs can verify if the ball was tipped or not, as well as any other penalty that might have occurred with the targeted receiver and defender.  Was it actually OPI, did the offensive player step out of bounds, did the defender commit a different personal foul that the ball being tipped wouldn't affect, etc, but only things that affected the ball in the air, the targeted receiver, and the defender(s) in question.

Look at how ridiculous reviewing a catch became.  That is less subjective than PI.

If anything gets added to reviews, I would say Delay of Game.  Out of all the things to add to review, that should be the most cut and dry.

Instead of that being reviewable, there should just be some kind of buzzer or something that lets the line judge know when the timer runs out so if the ball hasn't been snapped he can blow his whistle.  Like seriously how hard would it be to have a pager setup so that when the clock reaches 0 he feels the vibration and makes the call.

Like a shock collar on the refs?

If they add it to the review protocol, even more people will complain about flag fest, even more people will be upset because of no-calls, and even more people will be upset because crews will enforce it even more differently.

It's just a whole bunch of crap no one wants to deal with.
