INbengalfan
Good start for the Bengals. I am assuming James to RT and Ford to RG?

I do not see them passing on either Wilson/Bush/Baker for Sweat who I see as a hand on the ground 4-3 DE. With Bush and Wilson on the board and all the issues they have had at ILB, I just do not see them passing on both of them.
BZski
Detroit has about 60 mil in cap space after some cuts and doesnt sign 1 FA? I wouldnt mind Devin White though.
Tetsujin
Damn, we passed on Ferrell and Wilkins for an unpolished right tackle prospect when we have 0 pass rush and poor run D? Ouch

mountainpd
If the Dolphins offseason signings are manning and a running back we are in a bigger hole than I thought. I suppose on the bright side it could always be Flacco. Alloowing James to walk and then having to spend a first rounder to replace him would hurt. two biggest needs are O and D line and pretty set at RB. Raves
Wouldn't Ayaji cost the same or more than Ingram? If so I think the Saints would prefer to just keep Ingram.
Acgott
I don't see the point of cutting Eli just to sign another expensive QB. Just cut Eli and be done with it. You are relieving us of all our expensive veterans so Flacco makes zero sense with a total rebuild.

I wouldnt mind Devin White though. Spotrac has Detroit with around 30K in cap room, which is below the league average. Further, I don't have them cutting anyone notable. Marvin Jones is a cut candidate, but my thought is that he sticks around--hence why he's not on the notable cut list. I go over this everytime I do a mock offseason: not every free agent is accounted for! I only included players (a) whose addition would affect how a team approached however many rounds I have mocked, or (b) whose subtraction would affect how a team approached however many rounds I have mocked. 1 hour ago, Trentwannabe said: Hollywood Brown at 9? When all is said and done, I think Brown will be viewed as a similar prospect as John Ross, who went around the same place in 2017. 1 hour ago, mountainpd said: If the Dolphins offseason signings are manning and a running back we are in a bigger hole than I thought. The Dolphins aren't in a great spot cap wise even if they release/trade Tannehill. I figure James will command $8+ million a year in the open market which would be a tough pill to swallow for a rebuilding roster without a whole lot of cap space. I think Ingram signs for between $6-7 million--which is a lot more manageable. 59 minutes ago, Raves said: Wouldn't Ayaji cost the same or more than Ingram? I think Ingram goes for around $1-3 million a year more. 46 minutes ago, Acgott said: I don't see the point of cutting Eli just to sign another expensive QB. Just cut Eli and be done with it. I expect Flacco to sign at no more than $15 million per year. Also, I don't view the Giants as a total rebuild, just a rebuild at quarterback. Lastly, expensive veterans still on the roster per this mock: Vernon, Beckham, Solder.
Raves
@Rich7sena I don't think anyone is giving Ingram 6-8 mil/yr. He's good but he's not that good. I think he's going to be about 5/yr. I mean obviously some team might, but I think they would prefer going after Ayaji first he's younger and has less wear on him.

You believe the Giants are signing Flacco at 15M/year on a 1 or 2 year contract? It just doesn't make sense to me to do that. Eli's play wasn't the problem last year, his play in regards to his contract is. Cutting Eli and signing another expensive veteran doesn't help them improve the team when the cap space would be very minimal. Just cut Eli and have them sign a cheap backup like Fitzpatrick or Teddy or Tyrod. One that is only $10M or less. They need to use Eli's cap to fix the team, not spend it on a rental QB. OBJ and Solder are impossible to cut this year. Vernon has a good chance and it wouldn't surprise me either way.
