I’m not gone write him off just yet. Had to have a good plan in place for them to hire him. Plus he’s  just as much as an unknown as any other position coach we could have hired.

guess we will see how this turns out.

This is about the team as a whole. They felt they couldn't afford the possibility of losing another year of development from Corey Davis and Derrick Henry to name a few. 

They have importantly decisions to make on the offensive side with several players. I'm guessing part of it is to make sure they have as many constants as possible.

Not surprised we heard about this move for weeks just wished we had interviewed other candidates but we’ll see how it goes

This reminds me of nothing more than that time we took a great OL Coach and blind promoted him without any actual coaching search.
