dtait93 Posted January 22, 2019 Share Posted January 22, 2019 Players (past and present) seem to love the hire. Since he's been with us he's worked under 4 different head coaches. Pretty impressive he remained on staff all 4 times when each new coach could have brought in their own guy. With that being the case, he knows Mariota better with anyone and has seen up close and personal what's worked and what hasn't so maybe he can get the most out of him. That's kinda a big deal. Correct. That’s the only downside to the hire and it’s a pretty big one. He’s as good of a hire as we could have hoped for outside of that though. His success will probably come down to how good of a playcaller he is as it seems he’s the most prepared guy in the room.
