It's crazy how much 1 inch and 10 pounds can change the perspective of a player. I'm not being sarcastic btw

Where I come from it's the difference between going to play for Texas Tech or Tarleton State. There are a bunch of 5'11" 290 pound west Texas boys that aren't offered.

The thing about 1 inch is that it's not just height. It's usually a larger frame. Typically longer arms, bigger hands etc... not always. Sometimes you have WRs like the Steelers James Washington who measured short but his arm length is like a 6'4" guy.  Sometimes reverse like a giant OT with short arms forcing him to play guard.

But in general, 1 inch taller means more than just height advantage. It's a larger frame, which has more potential to add weight or strength.

And 10 or 15 pounds is a significant amount of weight if it's muscle.

I'm 205 pounds and theres a big gap between a 220 pound dude and I.

Cowboys met with Rb Trayveon Williams RB Texas A&M

Not a bad option. He was showing more pop towards the end of last year. And Williams could be a lethal 3rd down specialist with his speed and receiving ability.
