... We still talking about Cajuste here? Cause I haven't seen anybody question his arm length before. Heck, it's listed as a strength in most of the profiles I could find. I think the 24 year old part is real, but I don't know if a minor injury is enough to knock the guy down the board that far.

That’s a great site btw.

I have no idea what his arm length is, but he looks to have short arms from the eye test. He does let guys get into his chest and while he's got the strength to anchor, he doesn't get a good punch on DE's. I attribute that to short arms, but I could be off on that.

Also, I did not research his injury. It looked terrible and I presumed it was some sort of a serious knee injury. Could be wrong, but I'm sure that didn't help him. Will he be competing at the combine?

He wasn't injured for the bowl game, he chose to sit to prep for the draft and avoid injury. I haven't seen anything since then. Are you thinking of his ACL tear back in 2016, cause that one was brutal. Probably would've been in the draft in 2017 or 2018 if not for that.

I stopped caring about arm length for OT's when we got this guy:

I also stopped caring about size/hand size when we drafted this guy:

Arm length and height are two different things. You can have a 6’4 tackle of his arms aren’t 32”

No he was injured in the last game he played. Announcers never said what it was. Maybe nothing serious or maybe trying to hide it until it’s healed for the combine. Whatever the case was he didn’t finish the game.

@pnies20, I was responding to this post directly above me.

Also BTC, I agree with you that if he doesn't get a good punch and let's guys get into his chest, he's in a world of hurt at the next level. I'm just not a short arms believer personally.

He rolled his knee badly in the Texas/Oklahoma game...can't remember which one that was. I thought it looked pretty nasty, but didn't get confirmation about the injury. Just kind of assumed he did some real damage. Maybe not...

This states he chose not to play in the bowl game for draft prep, not that he couldn’t.

Doesn’t sound too bad, but it’s also nonspecific....

Sounds to me like they didn’t want to disclose any info as to not hurt his draft stock.

Eh, I don’t think it’ll matter what the newspaper says, they’ll have a slew of MRI’s, xrays, physical evals, etc to review.

For a guy that has injury history, adding something to the list can’t do anything but hurt. That’s what I’d do if I was him; Go into the combine healthy with no whispering.

If it’s minor no one would care though.

Theyre gonna ask him at the combine what the injury was, it’s not like he’s keeping anything a secret long term.

There’s no upside to not disclosing it publicly tbh, the teams will get the info by the end of Feb either way.
