@ny92mike I like your second set of numbers (those that include exclusive tag #'s)

Also, I know you said no tag & trades (this go round).

What was the issue (other than more work for you) last time?

Cool

My issue with tag n trade is that it isn't that common irl because all parties would need to be in agreement, the team that tagged the player, the trading partner and most importantly the player.  Tag n trade takes the ability of the player to decide where he'll sign as a free agent.  For example, if Foles was tagged and let's say the Giants were to offer a trade it is still up to the player whether or not he signs the franchise tag and if he knows if he's headed to the Giants after he signs.  Maybe he doesn't want to become the highest sacked player in the league, because we all know that this team was actually made worse in the offensive line department, which I thought was impossible.  If the player isn't happy with the team the Eagles are looking to trade him to all he needs to do is refuse to sign the tag.  Granted it kinda screws him over, but he still has the choice of signing the tag and if the team doesn't notify him of the pending trade, I'd consider that a violation of the good faith negotiations.

Section 8. Good Faith Negotiation:
(a) In addition to complying with specific provisions in this Agreement, any Club, any player, and any player agent or contract advisor engaged in negotiations for a Player Contract (including any Club extending, and any player receiving, a Required Tender) is under an obligation to negotiate in good faith.
(b) A Club extending a Required Tender must, for so long as that Tender is extended, have a good faith intention to employ the player receiving the Tender at the Tender compensation level during the upcoming season. It shall be deemed to be a violation of this provision if, while the tender is outstanding, a Club insists that such a player agree to a Player Contract at a compensation level during the upcoming season below that of the Required Tender amount. The foregoing shall not affect any rights that a Club may have under the Player Contract or this Agreement, including but not limited to the right to terminate the contract, renegotiate the contract, or to trade the player if such termination, renegotiation, or trade is otherwise permitted by the Player Contract or this Agreement.

I like the second set of numbers better. The only thing to be careful of is that some of the exclusive numbers are lower than the non-exclusive for the same position. For example, DT. Those should be flipped as the exclusive is more beneficial to the team and as such has a higher cost.

I noticed that too.  I believe its because of the salary cap being higher, which I'll need to calculate in.

Also we have two forfeited pick this year.

The Giants 3rd round pick and the Redskins 6th round pick.

The Giants is because of the selection of Sam Beal in the supplemental draft in 2018.

I don't know the reason from the Redskins forfeited pick, but I guess is about a selection on the supplemental draft too.

Thanks...Not sure where BDP pulled his list from but the Giants did lose the 3rd rounder.  I'll wait until he gets back on to figure out where he pulled his list.  Might need a new source.

I did find this source that looks to match what you're saying.

I think it was the selection from the supplemental draft of Adonis Alexander.

I guess the 7th round order is blur because of the trades Denver made, Walter Football has Minnesota giving a 7th round pick to NY because of the Riley Dixon trade, but that never happens. NY gave Denver a 7th conditional pick for Dixon.

Tankerthon also has a wrong order, they give Denver 3 7th rounds but that's not true also.

The Demaryius Thomas trade with the Texans sended to Denver a 4th and 7th round pick in exchange for DT and a 7th rounder.

Denver also had traded a 7th conditional round pick to Philadelphia for Allen Babre, but I guess that conditions never met.

This always happens every year.  The later round picks are always an issue because of the conditional clauses.  We usually just pick a source and go with it.

As far as the Free Agents go, i can't seem to find Barry Church.  Assuming he got lost in the shuffle after being cut by the Jags late season but not signed by anyone else?  Not sure anyone will even want to sign him, but haven't seen him officially retire yet at least.  Maybe i missed that.

Also, is Tyrod Taylor not a Free Agent?

Noticed some duplicates at WR like Tavon Austin and Ryan Grant in the workbook for some reason too.

On a draft order note, i should probably shut my piehole and take the free pick, but i believe one of the Jaguars 7th rounders is actually headed to CLE from the Cody Kessler trade.  Presumably the later one via BAL from the earlier Bowanko trade, but i haven't really seen anything concrete either way, or even if the pick is for sure headed to them this year based on the conditionals.

The other testing workbook seemed to run fine for me.  Didn't seem bogged down or anything.
