hard pass on Drew Lock.  yes he has the tools to be a very good starter but we need a day 1 starter at qb not a guy who needs to sit the entire season.

i would look at DK Metcalf, TJ Hockenson, Cody Ford for offensive guys and guys like Montez sweat, jalachi Polite for DE and Gary(future replacement for Campbell?)

You could say basically the same for any QB in this class. You guys need a signal-caller, any way you look at it.

we dont need to reach in this draft for 1 either. we can likely land foles for a 3rd rounder(thats what rotoworld is putting out there as what the eagles want) not to mention we could roll  with signing a guy like Flacco or Tannehill potentially.   to me its Haskins/Murray or Bust.

I can understand that line of thought, but think about how much you'd have to PAY stop-gaps like that who are already DONE?!?

flacco and Tannehill both arent done unlike eli.  trading a 3rd for foles sounds alot better then drafting another Missouri QB.  im not denying lock has talent but to pick a qb just to pick a QB instead of picking another need with better value is smarter.

even as a stop gap almost every top qb is in next years class like Tua and such.  only 1 missing is Lawrence sadly

Pick up a vet, then, AND draft a young QB with legitimate potential. Best thing about picking Lock is that you probably wouldn't have to trade UP. Save all your picks, get a vet in FA, draft a potential future franchise-guy.

much rather have another year of blake bortles starting instead of drafting lock.  he has the tools but he seems a bit skittish inside the pocket not to mention he doesnt have the best accuracy around.   if  i was gonna pick my 3rd qb id probably go tyree Jackson but hes likely available in this mid-rounds most likely even tho hes like the josh allen of this class.

Oh, I don't know.... -Lock looks like he could be pretty good, in time, in the right scenario. Maybe not an immediate Pro-Bowl starter as a rookie, right? QB's take time, and they are hard to evaluate, but.... -he's got the prototype thing going on.

he also happens to have come from Blaine Gabberts school and he seems alot like Gabbert.
