Bears sign Princeton TE/WR Jesper Horstead.  At 6'4"/225lbs he's more of a Trey Burton size kid but had a very productive college career.

Horsted is the Tigers' all-time leader in receptions and receiving touchdowns.

The Bears have signed tight end Jesper Horsted and waived offensive lineman Tommy Doles. Horsted set Princeton career receiving records with 196 receptions and 28 touchdown catches.

I can't wait until him and Gentry become our version of Rice and TO. lol

In all reality, I like underdog stories so I'll root for the kid, but I have never heard of him. Hopefully he and a few UDFAs show value on special teams at least. I want to keep those units as talented as possible.

Hey....we had a roster spot to fill and our Harvard Crimson TE needed some Ivy League competition so now we have a Princeton Tiger.  :D

It's really too bad each NFL team can't have a AAA farm team like MLB does.  Then maybe some of our fringe guys with borderline NFL talent could be developed better that way than on a PS and like MLB you can call players up or send them down as needed as they do in baseball.
