FalconFan13
Atlanta Falcons 14. Jeffery Simmons [ DT ] Mississippi State 45. Dre'Mont Jones [ DT ] Ohio State 80. Nate Davis [ OG ] Charlotte 118. Anfernee Jennings [ EDGE ] Alabama 138. Trey Pipkins [ OT ] Sioux Falls 154. Ben Kurr-Kirven [ LB ] Washington 174. Devin Singletary [ RB ] FAU 189. Derrick Baity [ CB ] Kentucky 234. Zach Gentry [ TE ] Michigan The only thing im sorta confused on is why we go 2 identical style DT's in back to back rounds. We really need a 1T unless you think Simmons or Jones can be a run stopping force at the 1T position. To fix this i would probably either trade down in the 1st and take Lawrence plus get a 2nd or 3rd round pick and still take Jones in the 2nd + another guy with the new pick. or Take Simmons and then use that 2nd round pick + a 4th or so and trade back up to target Lawrence. If you do trades in your draft i think those would be really good scenarios for us. I don't know Nate Davis at OG yet so im just gonna have to trust ya judgement on that one that you think he is a good fit and player for our scheme. I might have also targeted a more power style RB than a clone of Freeman and Ito as our 3rd RB to help us get those 3rd and shorts at carry the load incase freeman gets injured again. Overall it's not bad though and something i could see happening on draft day that most falcon fans would be pretty pleased with although their are some people who want us to get OL in rounds 1 and 2 then DL in round 3 and grab a OL and DL in FA as well. The Gnat
I'd say that that would end up being an effective draft for the Vikings.

G08
@goldfishwars God bless ya, this is not a complaint, the Bears do have the Eagles 7th round draft pick (confirmed by one of our beat writers).

Yeah, it's down as a conditional 7th - but I can't see if the conditions have been met.

Sheldrick Redwine [ S ] Miami 1st I let you know what I like with your Browns picks. 1st Wilkins, 2nd Ya-Sin, both 5th Wilson, Schraping, and 6th rounder Sills. How I would draft the other picks would be 3rd Terry McLaurin WR OSU, 4th Hodge LB Buffalo, 6th Kedall Sheffield CB OSU , 7th Mathew Gay K Utah But until FA it is all moot but good effort. This is just my (probably homer) opinion

They have been: Barring any future trades, the Bears currently have five selections in the 2019 NFL Draft, adding on a conditional seventh round pick when general manager Ryan Pace traded defensive back Deiondre’ Hall to the Eagles at the end of the preseason. The Bears were awarded that conditional pick after the regular season, a league source confirmed to WGN Radio, so they are currently slated to have back-to-back picks in the seventh round. Bobby816
I like the draft for the Jets. Although Metcalf at 3 is a reach. He's be a great target if trading back for a QB needy team a few picks later.

coachbuns
Packers will not let Sweat or a starting tackle get by at #30. TE is a need but not that high a need over edge or tackle.

Agreed. I can understand if someone doesnt like our WR group but two back to back? Better chance we take two OL or DL.
Nuclear So & So
Love it for Buffalo, but a little concerned about no OL help until the 3rd - Hard to pass on Ed Oliver at 9 though. If we can get 1-2 OL, a HB, and a WR in Free agency, this would be ideal.
bzane
@goldfishwars- Good God, sir, whatever the differences of opinion, this is another fantastic effort from you, with a breadth of knowledge- all those prospects!- and a depth of research that is mind-boggling. bigdog2372
Pretty good haul for my Bucs. Williams at 5 would be a dream. But who knows? Few thought OJ would be sitting there for us in 2017.
