Like we all just know the sixers will lose this game right? They should have never hired doc rivers.

Well my original prediction before embiid got hurt was celtics in 7 so it's lining up. So yes.

@Jroc04

30 mins until the beginning of elation or despair.

I’m obviously pessimistic about them but I just don’t see a way they win outside of someone just ripping off a hero 2nd half here. It can be done but we just can’t stop them from doing what they want, on both ends of the floor. They collapse on Jo, we have no answer. They drive and kick and find guys wiiiiiiide open entirely too much.

God the sixers are trash maybe should just completely clean house at this point.

It wouldn't surprise me TBH.

Harden likely sees today and wants out. Then I've heard Embiid would also think about asking to be out.

Bring back Hinkie.

As many good things that have happened the last ten years there a handful of awful mistakes you wish you could go back and change.

Hopefully they do, what an awful performance to end the last two games. At least the Flyers just suck now, one lest perennial tease and disappoint team in the city. Sixers fans give us an easy way to feel what Cowboys fans feel every year.

Wonder if they bring Monty Williams back since he’s done in Phoenix.

Rivers gotta go, Harden can walk, he’s cooked, they have to trade Harris and somehow inject some talent in here. It’s near impossible without trading Maxey whose value has declined but who knows. NBA stars collude all the time. And then they could just completely blow it up and trade Embiid.

Just an awful performance when your life is on the line. Awful. Harden and Embiid can look no further than themselves. They ish the bed in one quarter and that’s all it took. 10 points for the team coming out of half time. That’s coaching to me. Letting Tatum just go off without any kind of defensive strategy is coaching to me. But scoring 10 and just rolling over is all players. We signed some 37 year old defensive specialist and I don’t think he guarded Tatum once. What’s he here for then? I don’t get Rivers at all. Hire the Bucks coach that got canned for no reason really. I guarantee we’ll be better with him.

As a non 6ers fan, the mistake was not keeping Jimmy Butler

Yea, in hindsight is was the eventual death knell. But Ben was supposed to be generational. Or close. And it was really either or. I don’t blame the franchise for choosing Ben but man, what a mistake. Jimmy and Jo would be perennial playoff nightmares. Now, the 6ers CANT run this back and expect any sort of fan support. If Morey even suggests extending Harden, we’ll burn his office to the ground.

yeah we agreed with the decision at the time but Jimmy Butler was right and 6ers fans have to live with that wrong choice.

SO many things the Sixers could've done differently.

They could've drafted Ingram.
They could've drafted Tatum
They could've traded Ben Simmons for Kawaii Leonard
They could've kept Jimmy Butler

I'm sure there are others. We signed Al Horford... for what reason? There was so much potential, so many missteps. The only thing that worked out entirely even if it took a while was Embiid, and that might be coming to a close to. I wouldn't even blame him at this point. Brett Brown was fired a year too late too.

Hiring Rivers was a terrible mistake. He underachieved his whole tenure. Not one time did I go into a playoff series and unequivocally believe we had an advantage in the coaching matchup. Nick Nurse (who’s available, btw) runs absolute circles around him.

The more I think about it, the more I think it makes more sense to move Joel.

He's 29 now, and as a big man with an injury history, he could start declining fast at any moment. He just won MVP so his value will never be higher. I think this team as a whole has reached their high water mark so it's better for us to rip the bandaid off and try again. It was fun. Could've been better. I'll root for Joel no matter where he goes. But for the long term success, it's better to get the ball rolling here on the rebuild.

If only Hinkie or Howie could be GM of the 6ers. Morey is better than Colangelo or Brand were, I'll give him that.
