This has been far and away the worst CoD launch ever. One of the worst AAA game launches of all time.

Hopefully it turns out to be a good game, but man, Sledgehammer really screwed the pooch on this one.

I don't understand, how?

You having server issues? I have had a few games "disconnect" as I'm going back to the lobby and don't get the win/stats, but that's my only complaint

It would be nice if the guns you get at the early ranks actually killed anyone. Level 21 and still don't have a gun worth anything.

PPSH and STG are the only early guns worth a damn. The Thompson, FG42 and BAR are in a class of their own, all unlocked after level 42

Today? I didn't even think the STG was that good. Damn, ARs are gonna suck now. The Thompson imo was the most powerful gun and that survived an initial nerf?

I think the only thing that happened to the STG was to make the hip fire worse.  Pretty sure SMGs weren't touched.

Ok I'm cool with that. The BAR needed some work. The FG isn't too strong but there is no recoil, it's really good with rapid fire - the main benefit of the FG is that a grip isn't necessary so you can add that rapid fire and not lose quickdraw/sight

They're okay. Everything just seems weak so far. And I suck which doesn't help either.

Yeah, they're just okay. They're usable though

I've gone back to only hardcore.  The TTK in core was just way too slow for me to handle.  Hardcore has its own annoying things, like the corner campers, the constant barrage of random grenades, and friendly fire deaths actually counting against your score, but I still find it much more enjoyable.  My K/D was hovering right around .75 playing core, but it only took one night of grinding away in the hardcore lobbies to get it positive again.  Nearly every gun is usable, and as long as you know the maps and spawns it's not that hard to adjust to not having the mini map.  I just wish they'd tweak the friendly fire system.  I don't necessarily mind dying when a teammate shoots me, but I don't think a +1 to my death count is warranted.  I can't recall any  other COD's actually counting deaths for the person killed by friendly fire.

But speaking of spawns, I think they need some tweaking.  It's far too easy to trap a team on one side of the map.  And it's incredibly annoying to be on the wrong end of that.  There's been times where I was killed 3, 4, 5 times only a few steps out of spawn and every time I was spawned in the same spot.  I understand not wanting the spawns to be constantly flipping, but right now it feels like they're too slow to flip.
