They won't reach for anyone but I would expect one of Isaac Nauta or Kaden Smith to be picked in the third round.

That is unless they decided to trade for Cameron Brate. Currently Matt Lacosse is good for a backup and special teams role while I am pretty confident in Ryan Izzo, (2018 seventh round pick on IR), to be a complimentary blocker a la Dwayne Allen 2017 & 2018.

I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a big move. Losing Gronk severely reduces the offense's flexibility because of his ability as a blocker and a receiver. If Gordon can come back or they get a fade-route-guy, it softens the blow, but I think they might go TE R1 now. Makes the Marty B staying-in-retirement thing a little more saddening too as a fan.

I'm not bothered by the Bennett thing. First round I'd be happy with Noah Fant only but not in a huge trade up. Max like seven spots.

depends. 4.55 is not terrible. Sherman was 4.6 I believe

I think he can definitely thrive at corner for a little while but ultimately I think his best fit may end up being safety. Probbly belonged on my top 100 honestly but I wasn't sure which position he will be used at. Right now it looks like be could be slightly overdrafted at the end of the first or first half of the second judging by the amount of visits he has with teams.

General impressions:

Backs - Decent, pretty much a typical year for options to choose from running and throwing. Arguably one elite prospect at either position.

Tight ends - every guy save for Noah Fant has something holding them back from loving them as a prospect

Receivers - Pretty much an elite class throughout the entire draft just no real top 10 worthy picks.

Tackles - Some interesting project players but no one really worth a first or high second round round pick

Interior offensive line - Different story from the tackle class. Good range of options and versatility from right to left with the centers in between.

Interior defensive line - Very good, above average with one of the best prospects ever in Quinnen Williams.

Ends - Not as deep as receivers but still an elite class overall compared to most drafts and multiple worthy top ten pick options.

Linebackers - Outside is elite compared to most draft classes as well and deep. A few top ten worthy picks for sure but inside backers are just an average to slightly below average class.

Corners - Slightly above average, lots of intriguing fits schematically but no top end talent in the first round.

Safety - A few first rounders here but not an especially strong position compared to most previous years.

I'm going to predict (and get them all wrong)...

32: Jeffrey Simmons (DE) (reminding me of the Easley pick, and something BB would do)

56: Traded (not sure for what, but BB will win this trade)

64: Kahale Warring (TE)

73: Bobby Evans (OT)

97: Terry McLaurin (WR)
