tom cody Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 I was surprised to see the Giants trade Beckham to the Browns, you'd think they would have traded him to the 49ers for the #2 pick to get more of a guarantee they'll get their QB of the future in Round 1. I've not heard that SF was interested in giving up the #2 pick. Plus - I've heard they wanted him out of the NFC and Peppers became the sacrificial Brown - to replace Collins. Maybe a 2nd quarterback gets selected through a trade. BucShot Posted March 15, 2019 Share Posted March 15, 2019 I think someone moves up to #3 for a QB. The way I see it, it's gonna be 1. Murray/Haskins (Either Cards, or trade up) 2. 9ers take Bosa 3. Haskins/Murray (via trade up) After that it gets iffy 4. Raiders take their BPA (Quinnen? But could be anyone) 5. Having a hard time understanding that one. I can see the Jets taking Cody Ford. The league apparently is higher on him than the national media is. He fits the mentality they need up front and has the skills to maximize a running back like Le'Veon Bell. The Jets would also be smart to build up their offense first around Darnold. Gets long-term pieces around him set and then search for more defensive talent. The Jets aren't realistically ready to compete yet.
