Nyqwan Murray isn't nearly that fast.

I don't think his game will translate to the NFL. Plus he has character issues = UDFA

Your Daniel Jones comparison to Gabbert is awful.

Gabbert has horrible pocket awareness. Jones has great pocket awareness. Jones steps up and takes shots. Gabbert didn’t. Jones doesn’t have a strong arm. Gabbert has a stronger one.

Why are there so many comparisons made to the top players in the league every draft?

You might be right.  I didn't watch Murray this past year but he impressed me a lot in 2016 and 2017.  When I make comps I don't always look to match the guys up in terms of measurables but rather playing style.  Sometimes playing style can trump the measurables.

Was he not that good this past year?  In 2016 he was being talked about by the Florida State coaches like he was the next big thing.  He played really well that year from what I recall.

Josh Jacobs a poor mans Saquon, well maybe if the man you are talking about is like the poorest dude ever sure.  Saquon is physically superior in almost every way not to mention is 15 pounds heavier, just the physical difference in them makes it a hard comparison but sure on the field they are alike in the fact they can run and catch the football so well.

Also Marquise Brown, I doubt he is as fast as Santana Moss, he could fly.  Will be interesting how Brown times out Moss had what 4.31 40 and 42" vertical.

I really doubt Mack Wilson is as good as Deion Jones is in the NFL.  Deion is fast and was a better playmaker in college I feel than Wilson who benefited a lot off the talent ahead of him keeping him clean.  Also I would hope Daniel Jones does not turn into Blaine freaking Gabbert who I thought in college was a lot more run dependent than Jones who is more of a pure pocket passer who can run but does not have to run like Blaine did.

A few I feel pretty good about. Some of the comps are more related to play-style than upside.

QB:

  • Dwayne Haskins: Matthew Stafford
  • Drew Lock: Derek Carr

RB:

  • Josh Jacobs: Ezekiel Elliott
  • David Montgomery: Kareem Hunt
  • Damien Harris: Doug Martin
  • Devin Singletary: Devonta Freeman

WR:

  • Riley Ridley: Michael Thomas
  • KNeal Harry: Juju Smith-Schuster
  • Deebo Samuel: Jarvis Landry
  • Hakeem Butler: Mike Evans
  • A.J. Brown: Amari Cooper

Edge:

  • Josh Allen: Chander Jones
  • Montez Sweat: Danielle Hunter
  • Brian Burns: Leonard Floyd

CB:

  • DeAndre Baker: Malcolm Butler
  • Greedy Williams: Gareon Conley
  • JoeJuan Williams: Jimmy Smith

S.

  • Johnathan Abram: Landon Collins
  • Deionte Thompson: Vonn Bell

On the QBs I've viewed thus far:

Will Grier - Ryan Fitzpatrick

Brett Rypien - Colt McCoy

Tyree Jackson - John Skelton

Clayton Thorson - Drew Stanton

Jordan Ta'amu - Jason Campbell

Jarrett Stidham - Blaine Gabbert

Easton Stick - Rich Gannon

Marcus McMaryion - Tajh Boyd

Will add other QBs as I see them. This actually looks like a solid Draft if you need a backup QB. There's something about Easton Stick that I really like.

Nothing about Jacobs makes me think Saquon Barkley. Jacobs is a powerful between the tackles runner with great speed. Barkley is a shifty off-tackle runner. I don't see this one at all. Both are studs though.

Except Winslow was actually dominant in college. Irv Smith has been a disappointment for that Bama squad and seems more like a guy living on potential rather than sizzle.

Allen is 5x the athlete that Jones is. Allen is a freak whereas Jones isn't anywhere near that freak status. He's great, but MUCH stiffer than Allen.

Deion Jones had out of this world instincts and closing speed. Mack Wilson has bleh instincts and doesn't get to the football with nearly the same burst. He's fast, but not DJ fast.

The rest all looks great.

Travis Homer - Ray Rice

Travis Homer sucks tho bruh. He's going to be a special teamer for the duration of his NFL career and nothing more. I'd bet money on that, having seen him play in just about every game. He's a tough kid and runs hard, but he's just not special enough as an athlete to warrant a draft pick IMO. He is, one of the best special teams prospects in this draft for what he does on KO, KOR, P, PR. He's special in that regard (not a return man, mind you).

Disagree about Irv Smith Jr. 1 year wonder maybe who knows but he was very very good this past season.
