He flashes more angriness and power than Buckner did at Oregon. Buckner's always been more or less a big finesse DE. He's gotten a lot more technically sound as a pro with his anchor and handwork and has had success, but he's never really been nasty. Tillery plays like a DT ..at times rag-dolling guys, anchoring with leverage, and does what you'd expect a NT to do. He's just unbalanced too often and gets high in pursuit. But the physicality is certainly there. I think it's a fair comp between the two but Buckner was a smoother athlete; basically an edge DE that was big enough to play inside. Tillery is more a true interior guy, and plays with more explosiveness but also much less consistent body control than Buckner. lark25 Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 Well Kerrigan has 4 double digit sack seasons and the others came close, he’s pretty badly underrated I’d say he’s easily worth a too 10 in hindsight borderline top5. bosa might be a bit more fluid and not as maxed out so a slightly more fluid, higher upside Kerrigan should be a top 5.
