atown703
I appreciate the effort but not a fan of double dipping on OL in the first 2 rounds. Sweat in the 1st, Little in the 2nd and Winovich in the 3rd. Would have loved if Rapp wasn't taken by Washington the pick before
JaguarCrazy2832
Didn't Metcalf tear his ACL or something? Cant imagine he is a Top-10 pick right away even if he is that talented
kansas bob
Being a Broncos fan, I could live with this draft. Hopefully our coaching will be able to bring a young QB along.

Not unrealistic imo considering ACL nowadays is just redshirting not career threatening.

SBLIII
New England Patriots 32. Charles Omenihu [ EDGE ] Texas 56. Irvin Smith [ TE ] Alabama 64. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside [ WR ] Stanford 74. Renell Wren [ DT ] Arizona State 98. Te'von Coney [ LB ] Notre Dame 102. Saivion Smith [ CB ] Alabama 135. Hunter Renfrew [ WR ] Clemson 176. Jordan Taa'amu [ QB ] Oles Miss 235. Tyree St Louis [ OT ] Miami 241. Khari Willis [ S ] Michigan State 243. Marquise Copeland [ DT ] Cincinnati 254. Jonathan Ledbetter [ EDGE ] Georgia Omenihu is a player I could see the Patriots gravitate towards. Versatile big DL that can move inside and out. Irv Smith would be a pretty big steal imo at 56. JJAW also makes a lot of sense. Good value at 64. Wren seems to be a sleeper and the Patriots need a DT because Brown and Shelton will probably not be back. Coney seems to be a 3-4 rounder. So the value is solid. I think as far as priorities go this is the right round as well because you still have Hightower, van Noy. Bentley is coming back from injury and Roberts is improved. The pick of Saivon Smith wouldn't be terrible but I would prefer a pure safety here considering McCourty and Chung are about to be 32 years old. Doubling down on WRs make sense to improve this weak unit. Renfrow could be a longterm replacement for Edelman. Would love Taa'amu there. Don't think he is a starter but to pick a long term Hoyer replacement at the bottom of the 5th with a very low caphit would be very nice. I would probably pick a RB as 4th RB on the 2019 roster in the 7th round but not too big of a deal. The needs are well covered and I would really only change the 3rd 3rd round pick, so I would give this draft an A grade.
Ozzy
A few thoughts. 20. Pittsburgh Steelers - Devin Bush [ LB ] Michigan Does make sense and fits a big need for them 31. Los Angeles Rams - Jachai Polite [ EDGE ] Florida They already have small edge rushers who are better at the point of attack than he is 40. Buffalo Bills - Dexter Lawrence [ DT ] Clemson What makes him drop this far? The PED stuff? 47. Carolina Panthers - Greg Little [ OT ] Mississippi Wow out of the 1st round? Why? 77. Washington Redskins - Taylor Rapp [ S ] Washington To me he is a 1st rounder all the way, outstanding coverage safety that can do it all 81. Cleveland Browns - Chuma Edoga [ OT ] USC I like him he is a solid prospect for sure 85. Seattle Seahawks - Lonnie Johnson [ CB ] Kentucky Really this high, that would be sweet but his overall speed I question a little and really he has not been a starter over his entire career 88. Chicago Bears - Juan Thornhill [ S ] Virginia A little low for him I feel, especially with his versatility 107. Oakland Raiders - Will Grier [ QB ] WVU Drop this far? Why? 141. Arizona Cardinals - Justin Layne [ CB ] Michigan State Kid is awesome, could easily got 2nd round I think or 3rd 160. Buffalo Bills (from Pittsburgh via Oakland ) - Kristian Fulton [ CB ] LSU Not sure he is worth drafting, also not sure he is even in this draft, I thought he was back at LSU 166. Dallas Cowboys - Kendall Sheffield [ CB ] Ohio State He is back at Ohio State, he is not in this draft 193. Cleveland Browns - Myles Bryant [ CB ] Washington He is back at Washington, I do not believe he is in this draft 196. Pittsburgh Steelers - Will Harris [ S ] Boston College Not sure he is worth drawing, maybe a UDFA 204. Los Angeles Chargers - Bryce Hall [ CB ] Virginia He is not in this draft, he is back at Virginia and is a big time prospect I think 212. Minnesota Vikings (Compensatory Pick) - Ahmmon Richards [ WR ] Miami Last time I checked he retired from football because of injuries 215. Cincinnati Bengals (Compensatory Pick) - Mark Gilbert [ CB ] Duke He is back at Duke I believe and is not in this draft class 223. Pittsburgh Steelers (from Tampa Bay) - Zach Gentry [ TE ] Michigan He is back at Michigan, is not in this draft 225. Cleveland Browns (From Jacksonville) - Tre Lamar [ LB ] Clemson Wow drop this far, physically he is a upper team ILB I feel 227. Cincinnati Bengals - Anthony Johnson [ WR ] Buffalo To me no way he drops this far, the kid can play and is a 2nd or 3rd round pick. 237. Tennessee Titans - Jordan Humphrey [ WR ] Texas Wow drop this far, coming out would have been a mistake as a underclassman, but I doubt he falls that far 240. Jacksonville Jaguars (from Baltimore) - Alohi Gilman [ S ] Notre Dame He is not out for this years draft, he is back at Notre Dame as far as I know 252. Arizona Cardinals (Compensatory Pick) - Tony Pollard [ RB ] Memphis With his return skills no way he drops this far, the kid is a standout return man and that alone makes him a mid round pick I feel 256. Minnesota Vikings (Compensatory Pick) - Tyree Jackson [ QB ] Buffalo Wow you must not like him, I think he could easily go in rounds 3 or 4. Scoundrel
I love this draft for Denver. I would just rather have Oliver at TE in the fourth, and Keelan Doss at 158.

Dru Samia [ OG ] Oklahoma 95. Dax Raymond [ TE ] Utah State 110. Justice Hill [ RB ] Oklahoma State 181. Byron Cowart [ EDGE ] Maryland 240. Alohi Gilman [ S ] Notre Dame even if the jags sign Foles hes still a 30 year old average qb. hes been a bust everywhere but philly. i would go ahead and pick Haskins at 7. if u dont have a QB it dont matter who your wrs are. i hate daniel jones as a QB choice. his production doesnt warrent the hype and hes not worth a 2nd to me. much prefer going with an OL like Dillard, Little or TE Irv smith. a Tackle like Dillard might be able to make Cam robinson play a more natural position of RT(he was considered a RT/G mostly) and Dillards athleticism and efficiency in pass pro make him an ideal fit for our LT position. IRV smith would give us a Dynamic weapon at TE. i probably pick IRV smith cuz we have almost nothing at te at the moment. Samia isnt a bad pick but i like Beau more and he profiles great as a RG. Dax raymond fits a need at TE however unless the jags are going a different direction on offense we need a guy who can block at TE and Raymond isnt a good blocker at all. i would go pick Mecole Hardman as we could use some WR depth/special teams or Oli Udoh as we could use him potentially as our starting RT. Justice hill is a good pick cuz we need a backup RB. Cowart isnt a true edge. hes a tweener. i would pass easily on him for Greg Dortch who seems like a potential tyreek hill. while i cant really complain about picking safety depth in round 7 i feel like theres some interesting guys for the jags to consider like Tyree jackson, James Williams(we likely let yeldon leave, hyde cut, grant idk cuz hes off a foot injury). Los Angeles Rams - Jachai Polite [ EDGE ] Florida They already have small edge rushers who are better at the point of attack than he is No they don't 40. Buffalo Bills - Dexter Lawrence [ DT ] Clemson What makes him drop this far? The PED stuff? Just couldn't find a match for him, sometimes have the Pats taking him - but they like versatility where they can get it. He's a good player but there aren't many teams looking for players with his skill-set in the first 47. Carolina Panthers - Greg Little [ OT ] Mississippi Wow out of the 1st round? Why? Needs a lot of refinement, deepish class at tackle 77. Washington Redskins - Taylor Rapp [ S ] Washington To me he is a 1st rounder all the way, outstanding coverage safety that can do it all I don't see him that way, day two talent 81. Cleveland Browns - Chuma Edoga [ OT ] USC I like him he is a solid prospect for sure He's light on his feet - needs to get stronger 85. Seattle Seahawks - Lonnie Johnson [ CB ] Kentucky Really this high, that would be sweet but his overall speed I question a little and really he has not been a starter over his entire career Big scheme fit for Seattle - not as valuable elsewhere 88. Chicago Bears - Juan Thornhill [ S ] Virginia A little low for him I feel, especially with his versatility Need to see more of him 107. Oakland Raiders - Will Grier [ QB ] WVU Drop this far? Why?Don't see it as a drop 141. Arizona Cardinals - Justin Layne [ CB ] Michigan State Kid is awesome, could easily got 2nd round I think or 3rdOnly caught onto him lately, liked what I saw 196. Pittsburgh Steelers - Will Harris [ S ] Boston College Not sure he is worth drawing, maybe a UDFA Pick 196, played well at the Senior Bowl by all accounts 225. Cleveland Browns (From Jacksonville) - Tre Lamar [ LB ] Clemson Wow drop this far, physically he is a upper team ILB I feel He's bad 227. Cincinnati Bengals - Anthony Johnson [ WR ] Buffalo To me no way he drops this far, the kid can play and is a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Underwhelmed as other receivers shone at the Senior Bowl. Think he'll get lost in the mix. Some very good receivers will go late. 237. Tennessee Titans - Jordan Humphrey [ WR ] Texas Wow drop this far, coming out would have been a mistake as a underclassman, but I doubt he falls that far Some very good receivers will go late due to depth and need 252. Arizona Cardinals (Compensatory Pick) - Tony Pollard [ RB ] Memphis With his return skills no way he drops this far, the kid is a standout return man and that alone makes him a mid round pick I feel He hasn't returned punts to this point and kick returners don't have near the value they used to since the new rules - think you're probably right about him going later than he should here though 256. Minnesota Vikings (Compensatory Pick) - Tyree Jackson [ QB ] Buffalo Wow you must not like him, I think he could easily go in rounds 3 or 4. He's worth a late round flyer, nothing more - he's extremely raw Responses above

Green Bay Packers - Brian Burns [ EDGE ] Florida State Burns might be the most natural pass-rusher in the class, with his ability to bend and dip. The Packers have managed to manufacture sacks, but Burns could give them a consistent pass-rush Brian Burns would be the smallest pass rusher that Pettine has had in his history, so if he's the pick he's bunking about a dozen seasons of history. Not saying it's impossible, just unlikely. Given the way the board shakes out, you'd have to think Greedy Williams [CB; LSU] or whoever the top ranked CB graded out would be the pick here. EDGE got dried up quickly, so unless you like Montez Sweat or Jachai Polite fit, you'd go BPA here. 15 hours ago, goldfishwars said: 30. Green Bay Packers (from New Orleans ) - Noah Fant [ TE ] Iowa The Jimmy Graham experiment looks like a one and done deal, taking Fant here could potentially see the Packers adding an offensive weapon that looks very much like Jimmy Graham at the start of his career Don't see them taking a TE this early. They haven't taken an offensive skill position in the first round since 2002 when they took Javon Walker in the first round. Plus, Jimmy Graham is almost assuredly going to return so they'll likely wait until Day 2 or early Day 3 to pick a TE to develop behind Jimmy Graham. At this point, Jachai Polite [EDGE; Florida] is probably too good of value to pass on, even if he's not as big as Pettine usually likes. Nassir Adderly is a darkhorse pick here. 15 hours ago, goldfishwars said: 44. Green Bay Packers - Chauncey Gardner-Johnson [ S ] Florida Need a safety obviously, but if they go CB in the first round that likely pushes Josh Jackson to safety full-time. That opens up the possibility of taking Jerry Tillery [DT; Notre Dame] to add more depth to the DL. Zach Allen is a bit of a positional tweener, but he fits closer to the mold of EDGE that Pettine prefers. 15 hours ago, goldfishwars said: 76. Green Bay Packers - Germaine Pratt [ LB ] NC State Don't want anything to do with him quite frankly. Or at least not this early. Taylor Rapp [S; Washington] is probably almost too good of value to pass up here. Could probably opt for one of the TEs here as well. That's probably how I'd draft for the Packers. I'd rather walk out of the draft with Greedy Williams, Jachai Polite, Jerry Tillery, and Taylor Rapp than what you gave the Packers. Appreciate the effort though. Ozzy
4 hours ago, goldfishwars said: Sheffield and Gentry declared, I'll remove the others noted from my board - thanks They did not according to this list on NFL.com. They are not on this list at all. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000996224/article/tracking-underclassmen-intentions-for-2019-nfl-draft The Rams to me already have Fowler and Ebukam at OLB and both are athletic and Fowler for sure is better at the point of attack than Polite who is light and gets pushed around in the run game at times. Could argue they would need a solid ILB over a OLB type. Barron is ok but just ok and Littleton does a decent job but is nothing amazing. I do not see Seattle drafting another long corner, they already hit big time on Flower last year and have Griffin at the other corner. Not sure they need another long 6-3 corner because again they have Flower. If anything they need more of a slot corner or a safety not another long corner but will see. Justin Layne against Ohio State is the tape to watch, kid played great in that game and was very active with his hands and solid as a tackler as well. I do not think Tre Lamar is bad, the guy walks off the bus and totally looks the part. Sure should have came back to school but physically he is well put together and has a ton of upside and potential and again if you are just talking physically he is one of the best ILB prospects in the draft. Anthony Johnson can play, sure maybe did not play well at the senior bowl but that is not everything. He has very good hands and only thing that would make him drop this far is if he times out poorly at the combine. True Tony Pollard mainly doing kick returns hurt but if he can do kick returns I think he can do punt returns as well. The guy could catch the ball out of the backfield and make plays as a RB he is skill and I think he could easily be a punt return man as well. mlucas12002
Great effort on a 7 rounder as always, but again with two DT in the first 3 rounds for Cleveland? Would be better to change the later one to either Te'Von Coney or Oshane Ximines.
