M.10.E
Glad to retain a young player who's a big piece of the D.
wackywabbit
If Tavon Young didn't have the ACL that cost him his entire second season and that he had to work back from last year, he would be well known as as a young star in the league. Ravens are locking him up early knowing that health is likely the only variable keeping him from that trajectory. Really like this move.
berlin calling
fair value for a top 5 nickel back. hope he stays healthy, probably the reason its only 3 years added

J-ALL-DAY
Any chance the Ravens move on from Smith this offseason? Obviously more likely via trade than out right letting him, which wouldn't make much sense at all. But they do have Humphrey who is another star in the making and Smith is due to make over 10M next season.

berlin calling
he's under contract for basically 4y/28m. to me that is fair money for an ascending player.
WindyCity
The NB market is strong. This makes me even more worried about the Bryce Callahan market. Good move for the Ravens. Using the last year of the rookie deal to spread out cap hits is always smart, even more so for non-1st round picks.
JaguarCrazy2832
Crazy how the nickel market is taking off while FS seems weak
MrOaktown_56
It's fine value. Corners continue to get overpaid. Keep the ones you have, especially if they're good.

Berry is on 13 per year. If an ed Reed type hot the market today he could go north of 16 million.

diamondbull424
I wasn’t expecting this, but in retrospect I should’ve. It makes the most sense. We can’t allow our corner depth to ever become depleted and with Humphrey/Young we have two of our corner spots locked up for at least the foreseeable future. pnies20
Look for Bryce Callahan to get a similar contract in free agency.
