UtahUtesFan
So Fitzpatrick is going to be going into camp as the starter? Should have just kept Brock Osweiler if they wanted to tank. Edited March 20, 2019 by UtahUtesFan

But Fitzpatrick will at least make games interesting to the point where people may keep tuning in. IMO, this move was made for the sole purpose of minimizing as much fan fallout as possible from the tank. The tank is still on, but they are going for a 4 win season, rather than a 0 win season. Dolphinmeister
I read an article over the weekend that Miami is on pace to have over 100 million in cap space next year after the big purge and cap hits this year. Miami is hoping for a solid draft this year and hitting the free agent market hard next year.

Swampbilly
Haven’t seen this posted yet. It appears we have signed another player from the now defunct AAF. Jayrone Elliot, who was formerly a Packer and a Cowboy. Good / cheap depth signing most likely but the guy has playmaking ability so there’s a chance he could crack the starting lineup, depends how the draft goes. https://phinphanatic.com/2019/04/08/miami-dolphins-dipping-aaf-signing-jayrone-elliot/ guy has playmaking ability, hopefully he can manage his back pain / injury
hrubes20
Fins signed a whole bunch of AAF players the past few days. I love it for where the team is right now. Bring in a bunch of guys on the cheap that showed well in a different league, and see if lightning can strike twice with a Wake type later bloomer. Here's hoping a scheme change or coaching change can help.

He is a decent back up but shouldn’t be a starter that said he is durable and if one of the youngsters shows a bit in pre season they could share playing time and be introduced slowly. 1 year 3 mil is a decent pick up just as there is no risk.
