For me Sanders was always a strong option...

Montgomery was who I figured he would be even if the vertical was a surprise...

Holyfield was a shock...went back and looked at the tape and that is not a 4.8 player in pads...his workout compared to his tape was Suggs like...sure it moves him down but I still trust the tape...

Any three would be a quality pick for me.

Sanders might end up being the best choice at this point.

I honestly figured Montgomery, Snell, and Holyfield would all post better 40s...but you're right about Montgomery--he did nothing to make me freak out over that pick.

Some RB thoughts,

Miles Sanders stole my heart.

I wish Dexter Williams caught the ball better. He looked a little lost on the longer routes.

Mike Weber surprised me. Looked explosive and caught the ball well.

I'm just getting up to speed (sort of, anyway). Anybody else you think we should be hoping for, at other positions?

CB

Rock Ya-Sin, would be an ideal Callahan replacement.

Lonnie Johnson is a guy I like outside maybe taking over for Prince in 2020.

OL

Max Scharping, but not at OT as a possible RG of the future.

Erik McCoy, is awesome but looks like a 2nd round Guy now.

TE

Dawson Know and Josh Oliver seem like really athletic potential pass catchers who could play the Burton role in a pinch.

Darnell Savage, but I worry he is smallish to play next to Jackson.

Darius West physically reminds me a lot of Amos.

Ya-Sin was someone I mentioned a month or two ago. He is sticky in man coverage, really like him.

Juan Thornhill is killing me right now...I figured we might get him in the 4th but dude is destroying the combine right now.

Ugh. Same here. I mocked him to us a while back and was hopeful, but before the Combine I was feeling like he is a 2nd round talent. This has only confirmed his basement is in the 2nd to me.

Loving watching some of these front 7 guys blow away the combine...as it is not a big need for us the more guys push the RBs down the board the better 😊

Yeah, some pretty amazing times backed by some great field work as well.  Some teams are gonna get a good DL this year.

A few good TEs as well so maybe we can score decent RB and TE prospects in the middle rounds.

Every year combine shows you how lower level coaches think and effect game going forward to highest level.

Most athletic thick guys go to d line, if they can catch and their team runs a TE they may go to TE.  Top guys go to edge.  Next go to OT.  Left overs go to G, C, N.

Fastest guys go to WR unless they can't catch that good, then they go to DB - corner first then safety.  Sometimes safety because then they can cover whole field.

Best all around athlete goes to RB or QB, if his hands aren't that good or someone on his team is better for the job he goes to LB.

If NFL had a legit developmental program they could really add to talent by having guys switch positions after college.

Position that could benefit most is Oline.
