Agreed. Don't count out his confidence in himself. He may well trade up for the player he wants, and get the BPA on his board when the value is too good to pass up.

 

Of course BPA has a bit of a curve to positions of need and roles needed in the roster, so if we have two similarly graded players at CB and QB we are going to take the CB. But still.
