One year incentivized deal up to only 9 million and fans weren't ecstatic with the job he did in 2018. I still think grabbing a guy with tools to develop is a good plan for protecting Baker long term. What would you day are the biggest holes in the roster?

DT, weak side DE, LB, CB, and WR (but WR is not a big enough need to use a 1st round pick so don't even try it) in that order

Man you really want us to take an OT that we don't need for some reason. I'd rather have Allen, Wilson, Ximines, Mullen, or Omenihu in the 2nd in that order.

Ford is near the top of pretty much every Viking big board.  Jenkins seems like a good scheme fit for the Vikings OL.  Are you projecting he would play G, or C with Elflein moving to G?

Guard to start because it is Elfein's job to lose and plus he is experienced. Unless he continues to struggle and Jenkins clicks right away with Cousins, then I would think they switch positions.

Mack Wilson in 2 please, LB is much more urgent than DE.

Maybe they sign a free agent. I was under the belief that Zac Taylor is going to target both O-line and D-line before the back seven or skill positions on offense. That's my main reason for the selection, plus free agency may yield a better value and player than what this class offers at LB, (which isn't much).

Not like the Browns have stellar offensive tackles, Harrison or Robinson. The potential is really high for Yodney.

Nah, not at all a need for us. McK and Breida are a pretty good duo. RB is not at all a position of need for SF.

Harmon, Harry, Thompson, Adderley, Chauncey G Johnson, Adderley, Lindstrom, would all be better options, imo.

Sometimes you draft BPA and even though Breida and McKinnon are there, they aren't exactly the most reliable options in terms of health. I like Jacobs because he fits what Shannahan seems to covet which is a do-it-all back.

Please no Will Grier.....if we pass a QB, we better wait for round 3 or even day 3 for a guy like Jarrett Stidham.

In that scenario run to the podium with Deandre Baker at 41. Oliver and Baker would be an incredible haul for Denver

I really loke the fit with Will Grier versus the Deandre Baker who is allergic to contact.

E. Jenkins or Z. Allen in Round 2. The whole DL and iOL are in need of a major overhaul.

Missed this comment.

what are your thoughts on Garrett Bradbury of NC State compared to Jenkins in the second round?

IMO you missed on better choices for the Pats

32. Patriots - Jonathan Abram, S, Mississippi State ---------  Big reach at 32

56. Patriots - Isaiah Buggs, DE, Alabama   ------------------------- Reach, I see him in the 3rd for the Pats

64. Patriots - Paris Campbell, WR, Ohio State -------------------- Skill set no match for Pats offense.

=======================================

My choices based on your draft would be.

32 Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia   *******  Pats are running up with the card if Baker still on the board at 32

56 Charles Omenihu, DE, Texas -----------  Give the Pats more flexibility

64 Jace Sternberger*, TE, Texas A&M  ---------  Just what the Pats  need.

I would address the Safety and Interior line in the 3rd round

Terry McLaurin - WR

Isaiah Buggs T

Amani Hooker - S

Just updated. I strongly disagree with the hype for Baker. Guy is soft. Maybe that changes once be makes it to the NFL, but at Georgia it looked a lot like be was playing to avoid contact and not get hurt.

I dont understand the eagles corner pick. we have 5 guys under 24 signed for next year and 3 of them ended the year playing pretty well

Greedy is considered the top corner and by some a fringe top ten prospect this year. I don't think the hype matches the ability so much but at 25 I think the value is there for the Eagles, especially when considering the added dimension his ball skills will have behind their front seven.

From what little I've seen compared to you, Sidney Jones seems average since recovering from his Achilles injury. I don't know much about Douglas. Jalen Mills I thought struggled a bit and LeBlanc I vaguely recall being on the Patriots but is not considered a reliable stater. If the Eagles were to draft Greedy Williams I think their defense would look a lot better on the field and take a lot of pressure off of everyone else in the secondary.

Isn't Howie Roseman known for drafting best player available? Last year they drafted Dallas Goedert in the first round with Zach Ertz never having been much of an injury concern.
