Scalamania
Stopped reading after free agency - absolutely unrealistic. There's a zero percent chance we're going to Kwon and Barr that kind of money after paying Bradham last offseason. Also, zero percent chance we sign Landon Collins after McCleod restructured.Lastly, you overpaid for Parker by 3 years and a few million - he'll need a prove it deal before someone signs him to a deal like that. Kwon is injured so his market will be lower. Barr is realistic if they would offer that $ having barr and kwon would allow us to move on from bradham who will be 30+ next year and also didnt play well. Landon Collins is a signing they must do, we have no safety depth and malcolm will hit a wall within the next year or two and mccloud is horrible. Parker I gave wr2/3 $ and the eagles get him cheap for a few years. They could easily make all these moves and think about the future and should. If his market is going to be lower why are you giving him such a ridiculous contract? 4 minutes ago, IrishHooligan00 said: Barr is realistic if they would offer that $ having barr and kwon would allow us to move on from bradham who will be 30+ next year and also didnt play well. Barr is not realistic and that is way too much money. 4 minutes ago, IrishHooligan00 said: Landon Collins is a signing they must do, we have no safety depth and malcolm will hit a wall within the next year or two and mccloud is horrible. No it is not - you sign a vet for a reasonable deal and draft one to eventually replace McCleod next year. 5 minutes ago, IrishHooligan00 said: Parker I gave wr2/3 $ and the eagles get him cheap for a few years. He doesn't deserve WR 2/3 money, he's done nothing to prove that he's anymore that a low tier (WR4 at best) player and he doesn't play. The dude is literally made of glass, he hasn't made it through a full season in his four years in the league. 7 minutes ago, IrishHooligan00 said: They could easily make all these moves and think about the future and should. They could easily make a lot of moves - but could they (or will they) realistically make these moves? Not a chance in hell.
nlesthought
It was difficult to follow after restructuring Bradham then signing Barr in FA. FA: C, high profile players but very unrealistic getting that many guys to restructure rarely happens. Draft: C+ Wouldn't mind a CB first round if he's BPA. Like Holyfield and Hodge ok on Granderson. DeSean Jackson
I would love for this to happen and I love the draft. I would rather another cb with round one but the second round is awesome. Its very unrealistic though but sometimes unrealistic happens. I also dont like all the restructuring going on, esp with Jeffrey, Bradham, Jernigan and Bennet. I dont like guaranteeing them money in the future and moving cap space to next year for them. Only player I would restructure that makes sense is Ertz
Eagles23
I dont see us investing that much in 3 linebackers with amount the league plays Nickel
Kiltman
Overpay for a bunch of FA and draft an all-american IR squad is an interesting path to go. and unless we are going from 2 LBs to 4 playing meaningful snaps, this resource allocation to that group is bananas. Jlash
Wishful thinking on a lot of these contracts. Landon Collins is probably gonna be in the mix for highest paid safeties in the league, way more than 9Mish/year.

ianlewis16
i see us being remarkably quiet in the FA market this year. we need to get SIGNIFICANTLY younger almost across the board.
