Results of testing

I will try to see if I can find a good resource that compiles the testing for each position.    http://walterfootball.com/combine/weighin/RB

OL testing info.

I think this is accurate, but if you see something that is off, let me know.  Some noteworthy tests that pass some previous GB thresholds are noted in green, those missing slightly are in yellow.  Key items to look at....

3-cone less that 7.70

short shuttle less than 4.75

10 yard split less than 1.8

Players that hit all 3 of those:  Garrett Bradbury, Andre Dilliard, Ryan Bates, Shaq Calhoun, Chris Lindstrom, Trey Pipkins

Players with 2, and just missing 1:  Hajlte Froholdt, Kaleb McGary, Paul Adams, Connor McGovern

Dalton Risner with a 10 yard split of 1.93, but had the 3 cone and short shuttle

The feel of Christmas Eve as a kid.  Much anticipation for the measurements and workouts of the Edge players and D-Line.  I look for a major shakeup in slotting  of the Edge players.

*Burns weighs 245-250 lbs and jumps to the top 5 of the draft (Raiders @ #4) is my prediction.

I know we are anticipating some of the measurables coming; Burns weight, Polite’s arms.

Who are some of the others that strike your curiosity?

A big one for me, because I think it could change the top 15 picks is Oliver.  His weight and strength seem to be the biggest questions.  Does Rashan Gary knock it out of the park? If he does- does it raise even further questions about his love of football?

If Adderly runs a 4.4 does he ascend to top 20?  What OL can climb to top ten with a great workout?

My three deep sleepers: Godwin  WR Georgia;  Chris Johnson  S  No. Alabama; Dodson ILB Texas A&M.

Polite's height, and 3-cone for basically all the EDGE's. Especially Sweat.

If he is north of 240, he's my pick for #12.  And...as stated, that should put him clearly in play for the Raiders.

Can't wait to see how he and Polite measure!

If Burns is north of 240, kiss him goodbye IMO. He'll be the 3rd EDGE off the board after Bosa and Allen and may even challenge Allen. Either way, he's top 10 assuming the rest of his combine goes as I expect it will.

Could rise as high as top 15 IMO if he does. The safety class isn't the best and with Deionte falling off the table from a top 15 pick to perhaps a 2nd rounder now, it's there for Adderley to ascend because they'll be at least one team who wants a safety that high and no one is probably going to challenge Adderley for SAF No. 1 off the board.

This safety class is the reason why GB should be eager to land not one, but two starting safeties in free agency.  While I like Adderly and Gardner, they will take time to adjust to the pro game.  We've got young corners already adjusting.  Get some quality veterans back there at the safety position and draft for depth, if at all.

Could not agree more. I've been pushing the "sign 2 FA safeties" mantra all off-season.
