I'm hoping that Hock and Fant swap spots in a lot of team's big boards after today.  I'd be happy with either but I'd love to see Hoke fall to the end of the first.

I think a 4.65 for hock would have solidified him as a top 15 pick.  I don't see him falling out of that range.

There's going to be 2900 players on NFL rosters in August. He'll find a team. He's not going to last, much less make any kind of impact.

There's 5000 guys capable of running down the field on Specials and making tackles. 32 teams need 8 of those guys during the regular season. That's 250 spots for 5000 dudes. It's a matter of luck more than ability to end up in that class.

I’m saying he has a chance to be a FB in the NFL, you don’t. We’ll see

Emanuel Hall is having himself a day and moving back up draft boards. Also, isn't Drew Lock a Derek Carr clone? I am surprised I don't see that comparison more often.

How are you feeling about some of Mizzou's prospects? I like Beckner a decent amount and I think Crockett could stick somewhere and be solid. Blanton is actually moving around well in the positional drills. Hall has a ton of talent and could be a real deep threat but injuries plus inconsistencies could be an issue, similar to J'Mon Moore.

Just for fun, a little mock with Mizzou guys; they actually line up with most of our late round needs. Clearly some guys are over-drafted but It wouldn't be that bad.

1-Brian Burns, Edge ( we draft Drew Lock and then trade him for Burns and a couple future picks lol)

2-Nasir Adderly, S

3-Dalton Risner, OL (K-State is close enough)

3- Terry Beckner Jr., DL

4A-Emmanuel Hall, WR(probably won't be here with the combine he is having)

4B-Damarea Crockett, RB

5- Paul Adams, OT

6-Terez Hall, LB

7- Kendall Blanton, TE

I think that Beckner will end up being a steal for someone.

I'm not super high on anyone else.  I think that Crockett and Hall will have a good chance to stick somewhere.  Kendall Blanton is the most interesting to me.  He has very good size, but I also saw that he ran a 4.91 40.  Gotta be weary taking a player with virtually no college production, but it appears the tools are there if a coach can get it out of him.

Carr is a pretty good comparison to Lock.  I have heard everywhere from best QB on the board to second round.  I think that giving him an Aaron Rodgers or Eli Manning treatment would be best for him.  If he starts right away, I see a lot of sacks and INTs happening.

DK with a 7.38 cone and a 4.5 SS.

Straight line, stiff as I expected. This is no Julio or Megatron here.

I think it was Daniel Jeremiah who said today, 'he's going to need to fall in love with a yoga mat more than a barbell in order to become a more complete receiver.' Pretty much sums it up.

Good catch but still intrigued.

Myles Boykin’s 3 cone (6.77) on top of his impressive 40 and very workout has me realizing I need to take another look at him. I hadn’t seen or read much about him at all.

OL testing info.  I think this is accurate, but if you see something that is off, let me know.  Some noteworthy tests that pass some previous GB thresholds are noted in green, those missing slightly are in yellow.  Key items to look at....

3-cone less that 7.70

short shuttle less than 4.75

10 yard split less than 1.8

Players that hit all 3 of those:  Garrett Bradbury, Andre Dilliard, Ryan Bates, Shaq Calhoun, Chris Lindstrom, Trey Pipkins

Players with 2, and just missing 1:  Hajlte Froholdt, Kaleb McGary, Paul Adams, Connor McGovern

Dalton Risner with a 10 yard split of 1.93, but had the 3 cone and short shuttle
