Hypothetically, let's say Bosa, Williams and Allen are all gone. Who do you pick if there's no trading down?

This is really a nightmare scenario. I would trade out. Is that a non-answer? I guess I would take Oliver and figure out where to put him. I do think we could hold the four pick for ransom is this scenario.

Devin White. If you have to pick that is.

Pretty much this. If there is no option for a trade back, even just to recoup a small return like a 2nd and 4th then I’d take one of Oliver/White and be happy I got one of the last two major impact defensive players in this draft albeit a tier below the players taken before and positions we need slightly less.

Won't change my mind until Rosen is actually traded that Kyler is going #1.

So with that being said I predict the first 3 picks are

Q. Williams
J. Bosa
J. Allen

So we get 4 out of the next 32 picks

I think there are 4 QBs taken.
K. Murray
D. Haskins
D. Lock
D. Jones
I think we are out of the market with the first 4 picks. And these 3 OL go before pick 35.
J. Williams
J. Taylor
C. Ford
I think there are 3 players that are not scheme fits (all are better suited to play 3-4 OLB)
M. Sweat
J. Polite
B. Burns
I think there are 11 players that we don't need because they are not at a position of high need.
Z. Allen (DT)
E. Oliver (DT)
J. Simmons (DT)
D. Jones (DT)
C. Wilkins (DT)
N. Adderly (FS)
D. Lawerence (DT)
D. Metcalf (WR)
N. Harry (WR)
A. Brown (WR)
M. Brown (WR)

So that is 24 picks leaving 11 picks. 4 of which we have.
If we could land 4 of these players in addition to what we have done in Free Agency we can have a quick turn around going into Las Vegas.

J. Jacobs
T. Hockenson
N. Fant
I. Smith jr
R. Gary
C. Ferrell
D. White
D. Bush
G. Williams
D. Baker
T. Mullen

Like I said, if we could turn 4 and 24 into two teen picks and pick up a 2nd I’d be thrilled. Ferrell and Devin Bush would be a huge haul but neither are going to sniff 24. But if we had two teen picks we could get both.

Just did a TDN mock 7 rounder at it fell exactly how were talking about now. Bosa/Williams/Allen gone before we pick at 4. Obviously couldn’t trade down so here’s what I did and it worked out great. Love this draft and would be ecstatic if it fell this way given the situation.

1.4 Devin White, LB

-plug and play starter from day one at LB. gives us a player we haven’t had in over a decade

1.24 TJ Hockenson, TE

-with no Cook (so far) Hockenson is too much value to pass up at 24.

1.27 Clelin Ferrell, Edge

-another plug and play defensive rookie imo, not a super high ceiling but he should get meaningful snaps ASAP

2.35 Jachai Polite, Edge

-situational  pass rusher and 3rd down guy from the get go

4.106 Rodney Anderson, RB

-my favorite RB in the draft, coming off an injury or he’d being going early 2nd imo

5.140 Michael Jackson, CB

-good developmental CB here

7.218 Greg Dortch, WR

-love this pick as a slot WR moving forward, guy can flat out play

7.235 Ryan Finley, QB

-along with Minshew is one of my favorite late round QBs to develop.

TJ Hockenson will be a top 15 pick. Jags, Lions, Bills, Packers and Titans by some chance if isn’t taken in the top 15 will take him at 19. He’s to good to fall to the 24th pick.

Gonna have to find a book that offers draft pick odds cause I would bet on it.

I think Fant is the 1st TE taken.

Ferrell or White!

Agree I’d go Ferrell. Very underrated. Don’t care if he’s projected 13-17 usually, if he’s their bpa he’s bpa. Plus the perfect scheme fit.

Hopefully Quinnen is on the board though.
