@MikeT14 I know nothing about the MLB draft, the Nats farm system and prospects, like with hockey I don’t get involved with it. 
 

I didn’t know they had drafted that many pitchers lately. I’m guessing neither of you like the selection but, you haven’t said that. 
 

All I hear on the radio is that the Nats farm system is bare so, I assumed they needed young pitchers too.

To address your first part, there was another pitcher that I liked better -Mlodzinski-, but Cade is a big boom or bust prospect. He hasn't been at it that long in all honesty. I don't mind the pick.

As for the second part, it is bare, you're right. Their goal(s) the last couple years seem to, imo, be to use the draft to really stock pitchers, and our international pool to find our fielders.
