**Moved From Draft thread***

Ooooook now you mean Julius Thomas..the other average tight end on the Jags that year. And I'm the one saying stupid stuff? 46 catches at 455 yards and 5 TDs is a fairly average season for a tight end. No way anyone would take the Jaguars offense in 2015 vs Raiders offense in 2016.  Another ridiculous statement so let's take a look at it.

Raiders 2016 Oline=  Penn, Osemele and Hudson were all pro bowlers before coming to the Raiders and after too. Add in emerging Gabe Jackson. The one average players was Austin Howard, Watson Right Tackle combo

Jags 2015 Oline= Joeckel, Cann, Beadles, Lil Wis, Parnell. Not one of the players would start for the Raiders in 2016. No pro bowlers, past or present

Advantage= Raiders BIG TIME

Cooper/Crabtree vs Robinson/Hurns = Both Cooper and Crabtree are better than Hurns. Cooper, Robinson and Crabtree were equal caliber players

Advantage = Raiders

Running Backs= TJ Yeldon, Toby Gerhart vs Murray, Olawale

Advantage= Lean towards Raiders

Tight End, Lewis, Thomas vs Smith, Walford, Rivera

Advantage= Push.

So again, you would take the Jags offense in 2015 with Carr vs 2016 Raiders? Nobody in their right mind would so that. Unbelievable Carr fanboy acting like he was the only reason we were successful that year

I said last years offense.  You just argued something I wasn't even arguing to begin with.  Compare the 2015 Jaguars to the 2018 Raiders. Way to waste your time.

You even highlighted where I said last year lol. Pathetic.

It's a dumb argument to begin with. Why are you even comparing the 2015 Jaguars offense to the Raiders offense of last year? Pretty random comparison if you ask me that doesn't really make sense.

In the other thread, I stated plenty of average QBs have had standalone great seasons before and you literally wrote an entire paragraph trying to discredit each QB and to try to prop up Carr. You can literally find an excuse for Carr in any situation. That's a great talent to have, I guess.

Because you were talking about other player's MVP caliber seasons and I was saying B. Bortles 2015 season wasn't MVP worthy. Then I went on to say Carr would've had a better season with that team than last year's Raiders team. That pretty much sums up this argument as of recently.

And those seasons you listed weren't even that good. They were average with much better teams than what Carr has had other than 2016.

I tried to say this before, I'm done with this conversation. If you don't like Carr then that's your opinion, I believe he's a great quarterback, that's my opinion. We really need to move on. He either stays and plays good or bad, or leaves and plays good or bad. Just like you ask me to place blame on him, make sure you place blame everywhere else it is warrented.

Leave it bro. The common denominator is that our franchise has been trash. People will find ways to scapegoat certain players, but I'm with you. We'll see this year. I have faith in our guy.

It's in Gruden's hands now.

It made more sense to compare Bortles best year to Carr 16'to show the point that average QBs have contract career years. But you wanted to compare 2018 instead which makes no sense.

All I hear is excuses Carr all the time on this forum. Is that what we are reduced to? Other teams in the NFL are ruthless, just look at KC. Teams that hang on to underwhelming QBs end up stinking again.

It is sad to see Raider fans hanging on to an underwhelming QB performance.
