jetskid007 Posted March 8, 2019 Share Posted March 8, 2019 Well done and very realistic. Love nabbing Smith and Fowler; I hope we can. That would be such a young, dynamic front 7. Also love the idea of signing those two corners in FA; when you have the kind of front 7 we'll have with this kind of talent up front plus Adams and (hopefully) a healthy Maye, our secondary would hold up just fine. As long as we can add a descent edge or two in FA, that line is going to be impossible to stop. If we are referring to either eli or cannon then i disagree, there is a very real possibility that they are both hot garbage and below replacement level. I'd say pretty much most RBs we can draft are all better than that of Cannon. McGuire not quite. But the RB position as a whole should start changing over. I think there's a very minimal chance we don't come out of FA with either Bell or Coleman. So 1 spot will be taken care of. If we sign Bell there's not need to draft a RB with a valuable pick. But with Coleman I'd still look into the RB draft class, bc he isn't a do it all RB like Bell. But I will for sure say McGuire and for sure Cannon have no holding power for a roster spot. Very few would be "automatically" better, but that isn't the point of the draft. No one is automatic. But you have to keep trying and you can't just settle for a player that is below replacement level. Also I would rather use a mid round pick on a back not a late round pick, which would hopefully make the player have a better shot at being good, at very least better than Cannon.
