TedLavie
Might as well start a thread. We have 23M of cap space with the incolming release or trade of Houston. We could save an additional 15 by trading Dee Ford. An additional 5 through various cuts (mix of Sorensen, Murray, Ragland, Robinson, Xavier Williams). So we don't have a ton to play with and we have needs at RB, C, DE, maybe DT, LB, CB and S. And that's not even counting potential coming deals for Chris Jones and Tyreek Hill. Do we make a big play at Landon Collins (which would basically signal Berry's end in KC I think)? Or do we sit back and try to fin bargain deals in a couple of weeks? Chiefs_5627
I think it's gonna come down to what we get for Houston/Ford. I think Veach will be aggressive enough to kick the tires on Collins but I think he ultimately heads to draft for team needs outside of a couple later signings

MVPatrickMahomes15
Eric Weddle is available. He's a durable veteran safety who can still play and he hates the Chargers. I say we offer him 2 years 10 million.

TedLavie
LeVeon in that team would be awesome. I'm very wary of paying too much money on a RB though.
TedLavie
If we're spending a ton on someone, I hope it's Collins
MVPatrickMahomes15
We're the perfect destination for LeVeon. He doesn't want a ton of touches and we don't want to take the ball out of Mahomes hands too much.

But his salary is likely going to be to high from what I'm hoping we can sign a RB. We just don't have a ton of cap to play with, and we have many needs

Bullyball
I like Landon Collins because of his leadership, but I think Adrian Amos maybe a better signing especially if he is cheaper. Amos is better in coverage than Collins(who's a liability in coverage and space) while being a solid tackler.
xMISTA314x
Picking up Carlos Hyde was a great move for us. Allows us to really use all our top picks on defense. I was hoping we would get Montgomery from Iowa St in the 2nd.
