Pete, this 8 million is that savings for this year or the entire contract length?

Rather than posting the savings I need to know what the new base and signing bonus are or just the total cap hit for this year.

It is how much it saves on 2019.

Ok we’ll post what each player’s new 2019 cap hit is. Do I need to go back and adjust the ones we’ve already done or can we just do that from now on?

I went back and edited my posts for both the Atlanta and KC restructures with the new cap hits for each player.

approved CHI opens up $12,825,500 in cap space @ny92mike

Pete this restructure doesn't make much sense.

the Base Salary for this year is 1 million, so he really doesn't have any money to push to the later years of the contract.  The base salary can't be below the vet min so he's only pushing like 200k to the next year.  Working out the numbers for this contract his signing bonus would be a negative number to free up that much cap for this year.

Gonna have to decline this one.

Pete got the wrong number, this 12,825,000 would be the new deadcap after the restructure. the correct numbers are a cap hit of 8,370,000 after 5,130,000 cap savings for 2019
