Still think Mauro is playing in the base. Lee is the backup at all 3 LB spots. Look for Justin Phillips to be activated to the 53 if there's a need at the position. He was basically the Cowboys version of Doss in preseason.

Is Phillips good? I was trying to look up the 3 players we picked up on the practice squad. Crockett seemed promising and only 21

I think it depends on who goes down and when they get hurt. If someone goes down in the first few weeks I thin our first call is to Cabinda. He is on the Det practice squad but knows the defense and is ready to play. If it is latter in the year, I think Marshall has more of a shot to get the call as he will have had more time to have gotten more solid physically along with Phillips who should have learned the defense by then.

He's one of our best special teams players. We're only going to use 2 LB's on like 80-85% of our plays this year.
