Money
2020 option. What are you gonna do? Not gonna exercise it. Okay. Not gonna re-sign him after a dismal year on the bench. Okay. Move him now. Good work on Gilbert Steelers trade Artie Burns plus 2019 6th (via AZ) to NYG for 2019 5th, 171st overall
waffles7
I’m not sure this needed its own post. However, for what it’s worth I don’t think I’d trade Artie Burns + a 6th to climb 40 spots....to what? Ultimately draft a bum CB or someone else who may not make the roster. I’d rather take my chances in a bounce back year and/or hope he can be a solid #3 if an injury occurs. Money
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/sean-davis?id=2555386 Sean Davis has the build, skillset, and demeanor of a hard nosed CB so that means he plays strong safety. No, free safety? Put the man back where he is supposed to play. Good news. In the field and boundary CB walks of life, he is the Romeo to Joe Haden's Juliet. They're a match made in heaven. Get in done.

The Giants moved on from Eli Apple, so say they prefer the rehabilitation, instead of the longshot. The Steelers like the move because it improves odds on the scratch off, when you're still just invested for only that little amount. Say you grab Dillon Mitchell with that 5th rd pick. 6'1 197" 4.
MOSteelers56
Davis was trash as a CB, even in college. I don’t care his height and weight. His best spot, by far, is at FS. Just give him one offseason where he doesn’t have to switch positions and he’ll be fine. I see Davis taking a huge step this season.
DR43
I think you mean ARTIE not Farty. Anyways, why would we trade him when his stock is down? Might as well keep him at this point. If nothing else, he is still a decent special teamer.
MOSteelers56
Ike and William Gay had periods of downright awful play early in their careers. I know they didn’t have the 1st round status like Artie but he could still pull out of this nosedive. I think a lot of his problem was shaken confidence. We’ll see how he responds to the new secondary coaches.

What you think is gonna happen?
