Klomp
The Vikings haven't completed their preseason yet on the field, but are moving full-speed ahead off the field with their new headquarters, the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. The state of-the-art facility is being built on the site of the former Northwest Airlines campus and is expected to open in March 2018. Among the unique features included in the development are a 6,500-square-foot locker room, and four temperature-controlled practice fields. Check out KARE 11's Eric Perkins' behind-the scenes tour of the facility. http://www.kare11.com/sports/inside-the-new-vikings-practice-facility/468331284

Klomp
90% done, per Kevin Warren today on KFAN Move in on March 1 Only thing that won't be done is the stadium, which will be completed closer to May (I'm guessing that's weather-dependent)

Wilf said he and his brother, Mark, are developers and plan to develop Winter Park, 9520 Viking Drive. He didn’t specify what sort of development it would be, but he said the ship — an iconic landmark at the entrance to Eden Prairie on Interstate 494 — would remain. http://www.swnewsmedia.com/eden_prairie_news/news/local/ship-at-winter-park-to-remain-after-site-gets-developed/article_d1e44f9a-cc33-5f07-92b8-0a441feb69e9.html
vike daddy
improving the Viking ship at the entrance, that fell in to disrepair with the previous cheapskate team owner, was the very first capital improvement the Wilfs made after buying the team and taking over. their attention to it was both symbolic and a practical statement of their dedication to improving the team under better stewardship. swede700
It'll probably just become Vikings' Playland...you know...a giant kid's entertainment center, but with a Vikings' theme.

vike daddy
Last week, the final pieces of turf were installed to complete the construction of the nearly 91,000 square-foot indoor practice facility building. The turf, Turf Nation’s S5, is the same surface that is used at U.S. Bank Stadium. D.A. Hogan’s Eric Gould oversaw the design and installation of the practice facility’s playing surface. With a 98-foot roof, the new structure will allow for punters and kickers to fully utilize the indoor practice facility. Previously, the low roof at Winter Park did not allow for such capabilities. Much like U.S. Bank Stadium, the Vikings will have natural light peeking in from windows of the indoor practice facility. In addition to the natural light, LED lighting will help illuminate the space. http://www.vikings.com/news/article-1/New-Vikings-Indoor-Practice-Facility-at-TCO-Performance-Center-Complete/279e5f9f-1e3e-4a69-99c8-af36661d4e8b?sf182663500=1 time lapse photography of the turf going down.
