I feel like the Packers invest so much in their secondary every year and still have a bad pass defense. For their sake, I hope it finally works out. pigsooie5
Interested to see the #s on this. Always felt Amos was overrated, at least in terms of his PFF scores and perceived ‘elite’ status. Wish he would’ve left the North though
WindyCity
I am just hoping it is a big enough deal to get us a comp pick. The Bears were never realistically going to bring him back. He was too far down the defensive power rankings for us to sink big money into, but he is a solid player.

WindyCity
Honest Assessment Positives -His 2 biggest assets are durability and reliability -He is a good tackler -He does not blow assignments -He is solid in the 2 deep zone Negatives -Do not put him in man coverage, he was exposed when Jackson was injured -He does not have the range to play single high, he always has Jackson beside him -He does not make a ton of big plays, prior to his 2 INTs this season he had 1 in 3 years and Hicks called him spatula hands. Pretty much. I guess the main thing is it'll be interesting to see him without Jackson at FS.
Pugger
Seeing our "best" safety last year was a soon to be 36 year old converted corner (Tramon Williams) I'm happy Gute made this move.
Ragnarok
Even if Amos is just pretty darn good, it would be a massive upgrade for us at safety.
