Because if a new front office is hired expect a lot of house cleaning meaning with a new regime they may come here and clear everyone out even Yannick and Ramsey. Also be weary of a 2020 Lockout us NFL fans maybe looking dumb in the face in 2020 but it may help us if the front office is cleaned out they’ll have ample time to assemble a strong staff. Blake took us farthest of any of our QB (granted a lot went in our favor for that to happen, but still). Blake was also as tough as it gets, and just a cool dude and gave us some awesome sound bites and personality. Blaine was like a robot who said and did all the right things but it didn't seem genuine. And that's not to mention his actual on-field performance. It would help the cap if he signed a deal like this, but it’s unlikely. More likely if he signs a 2 year deal with year 1 being at vets minimum as it doesn’t make a difference to him.
