If we contrast our receiver core in 2019 to the one we had in 2017 it's like we're on a different planet.

We're three deep in bigger guys who can go up and high point throws.  Nice to have some depth behind ARob.

I think Miller is gonna break out this coming year and start over Gabriel who needs to become more of a deep threat with Patterson taking on some of his previous snaps on WR screens and jet sweeps.  But both can compliment the 6'3"/6'4" 215-230lb "aircraft carrier" size guys opposite them.

When you can throw a couple of taller WRs and a 6'6" TE like Shaheen out there along with a clever route guy like Miller we should have some nice options for Mitch in the red zone and Patterson is another guy who could be a nightmare to match up against playing in the slot against a small CB.

Lots more tools in the tool box now.

Same, but if he is, then even better seeing as we lost Bellamy who was doing the job for us. McManis and Patterson would be a good pair of gunners #gunnertalk
