They’re intent in fully giving McDermott the personnel to run his scheme and that requires linebackers who work best in space and Ragland ideally isn’t at his best there down to down. Plus, he’s one year removed from the ACL and might need time to look like his old self. This could be great business for the Chiefs, however.
