According to Pro football reference, Seattle started Clemons-Mebane-Alan Branch-Red Bryant on base downs and subbed in Avril and Bennett on passing downs. In 2013 that was correct which is the only year all of them where on the roster. After that season both Bryant and Clemons went with Gus Bradley to the Jaguars and i am pretty sure Bennett was a starter after that. But yeah the thought about base 4-3 Under is that its basically like a 3-4 in base. Where you have a NT the 3-tech and the big end as DE and the LEO and SAM as OLB's. In nickle it shifts to a more classic 4-3 with the SAM shifting to end opposite the LEO and the big end sliding inside to DT and taking out the NT. It really is a defense that has a lot of different faces in the front 7. That Seattle defense had a lot of moving piece both on the D-line and Linebackers because they really played the down and distance and changed it up a lot. Only guys that played over 60% of the defenses snaps where KJ Wright and Bobby Wagner. On the D-line there is 8 guys between 47 and 57% of the snaps.
