I truly believe some players just check out after signing massive contracts. LION KING Posted April 7, 2019 Share Posted April 7, 2019 Verlander wasn't the same in Detroit he was broken down injured got traded to Houston it was like a new start for him since that trade he has looked like his old self. Some times players get into a rut & it seems they never get out of it they go somewhere else they have something to prove to themselves again he took that edge to Houston. The old layout would let you know if a player was out as soon as the lineups were released (1-2 hours before game time) without having to look at player news.
