You Chargers fans are gonna say again you are going to win the West? Stop it please! We always get the last laugh.

No you don’t

To be fair the last 20 years every team in the AFC except the patriots have pretty much been playing for division titles

If Mahomes improves again, which I fully expect him to, it's hard to look past them. They need to improve their D, both play calling and personnel, but they have plenty of time. Let's face it, if Dee Ford was switched on then they would have got to the SB last year and their D was terrible. They are the team to beat next year IMO.

Odds are heavily that Mahomes, still has a pro bowl caliber season but comes back to earth. Likely in the neighborhood of 38-42 TDs.

Just want to add, those saying it's unlikely Mahomes improves on what he did last year, it depends on what you're talking about. It's entirely possible that Mahomes improves as a QB, but that does not have to translate to statistical improvement. A lot of things are necessary for that kind of statistical production, which is why seasons such as that are typically followed up by statistical regression. But it doesn't mean he will regress from a skill perspective. Brady didn't become a worse QB after 2007, for instance, the Pats just weren't really structured or set up to have him throw 50 TDs again.

With what your defense is shaping up to look like, I'm sure Mahomes will blow the stat sheet up again. A ton of the versatility of the offense relies on Tyreek, so hopefully he can stay healthy again. Had a couple scares this year, but nothing significant enough to keep him out
